He was talking about what Screwattack said in their article how a Ubisoft representative will make a statement on Tuesday regarding this Rayman leak.

Update 2: YouTube user and graphic artist Artsy Omni uploaded a video that shows step-by-step how he faked the entire video. Unless Nintendo somehow swoops in and thickens the plot more by revealing that Omni is an employee, Rayman will not appear in Smash.

Because you believed it ? Oh, well, sorry then. However, there was hints left by Sakurai that could have let you know that it was a fake since the beginning:

1-Sakurai mentioned that they won't make more DLCs for SSB.
2-Nintendo's relationship with Ubisoft. We all know that (most of) the guys Ubisoft are pros for giving false hopes (to be say it politely) to Nintendo and Nintendo console owners.
3-It would have been mentioned once somewhere else, and Nintendo would had either got it taken down or something lik this if the "leak" was true.

Well... his video has been deleted from youtube by Nintendo, and the same has happened with the leaks before the games was released, well... we'll see soon...
 
All the jokes about Ubisofts smash character being DLC
 
@D4rkDragon, I have mentioned this to you before, but I feel the need to say this again: they NEVER said there wouldn't be any DLC for Smash. It was said that they are not currently working on any at this point in time. Mewtwo is technically DLC, as it requires both games, which would mean more sales to possibly get him. The hype has been great for Mewtwo, as was the hype for the fake Rayman. Nintendo would be morons if they didn't plan on releasing any DLC EVER for this critically acclaimed game.

Things to be worked on before characters: http://www.ssbwiki.com/Downloadable_content Tournament mode and the Miiverse stage, which will have realtime Miiverse posts surrounding you while you fight. This, my friend, is what comes before the DLC. But the system is here for a reason, and it WILL be utilized. o:

I wasn't expecting Ubisoft characters yet so I wouldn't have believed it, but since we're on the topic, I'd be pretty glad to have Rayman and Altair in it (not a big Assassin's Creed fan but he's somewhat cool). :giggle:

Ohh, yes. Altair would be such a cool character to have. But, would they be able to make Altair/Ezio use their moves without making any blood effects? That would make their attacks look pretty...weak. How would they show Altair use his hidden blade? D:

I'm honestly not surprised. The creator of the video had some really good photo/video editing skills, and he put them to use in this.

When I watched the video, I believed it. I was like"meh, rayman" . Now I'm juiced that they'res not a wasted character slot. We have so many options for characters, I hope Nintendo chooses the unique ones. Please no more clones, Sakurai. That video was really believable though. Well dooone. c: Let's hope he doesn't do it again xD!
