Towns Folk
After the feature last week, nintendo is back with more indie games for the switch. Most of the games showed today will be available within the next month, so thats cool. I saw a interesting game similar to wario’s woods, but using a hookshot to speed up the action. There were also some great multiplayer vs games. The one focused on hats was interesting to me as there seemed to be moves that put your hat in danger but if timed right can knock your opponents hat off.
Another game I really liked the look of is Zarbot. The graphics style is cool, the fact it even has a story is awesome, and the gameplay just looks fun.
They showed two games with characters weilding a gun and a sword, and I really liked the first one.
I love that levelhead exists, as its like mario maker but with many fun features that would have been cool to have in mario maker, like multiplayer level playing and building.
Undertale is coming within a month, so that’s cool.
What did you guys like that you saw?

Aw, come on Nintendo! Still no FNAF? Aalthough, there are still some cool games that were shown, like Zarbot. However, I’m still keeping my cash saved for Undertale. It’s a game I never got to play when it first came out, and I really want to play it on Switch without thinking about the cringe fan base from PC. :p

I wasn’t too impressed this time around. Nothing caught my eye except the game at the very end, which I’m on the fence about. I’m also on the fence about Undertale which releases physically soon... I probably won’t get either. Other then that none of the games looked like anything I am really interested in this time

Not even multiplayer mario maker?

Lately Mineko's Night Market caught my attention because it looks cute, being able to craft something, raising some cats and all, even though I have to wait tad bit longer as the release date is pushed from 2018 to early 2019. I'm also keeping an eye on Treasure Stack, The World Next Door and Zarvot as well.

it was mostly boring for me
we need a "normal" nintendo direct in september, especially because the nintendo online service is nearby and there are still things we dont know like how we use the "family suscription" or the other 10 games coming with the release of the service, or if there are gonna be games of other consoles (like snes, or gamecube)

Looked like a cheap ripoff. Plus I'm not a huge fan of 2d platformers... I like 3d ones more but not by too much. When I play 2d Platformers, I like them as Nintendo Franchises, made by Nintendo, in small bursts. That's why New Super Mario Bros. Wii is one of my favorite platformers, and why I like the Donkey Kong Country trilogy (as well as the Donkey Kong County Returns Trilogy. Side Note: It is not a trilogy yet, there is only DKC: Returns, and DKC: Tropical Freeze. The DKC Returns Trilogy is wishful thinking. Next Side Note: I have not played Tropical Freeze yet but it is critically acclaimed so I assume it is good).

Mario bros wii is good, and the DK games are good too, but I would definitely recommend trying some not Nintendo platformers. While most platformers are inspired by sonic or mario, many Indie platformers add some interesting and fun gameplay. If you want some recommendations let me know.
I really need to get tropical freeze..

I actually did play shovel knight when it first came out on 3ds and thought it was fun. I got a little stuck at the end though and never finished it
