Real release date for 3ds Smash Bros!

Very exciting for me as I don't have a wii u... Yet! They did say summer in the Nintendo direct so they weren't too far off. What do you guys think about it?

Yea!! Can not wait for it. Got so many of my mates to see this Summer (If exam results go well) and MK8 will keep me occupied in the mean time.

I'm very glad it's coming in the summer... only it doesn't matter anymore. I might not get Smash bros 3ds since I used all my money on mk8. I was expecting it to actually come out in the holidays with the wii u version. Sigh....

When you make a thread about the release date of the game, you should probably include the release date in your post.

The game was actually delayed a bit, as they had originally said summer for the 3DS version, but now the game is seeing an early autumn release of October 3.

Hyrule Warriors and then Smash a week later...gonna be fun.

My guess was that they predicted it would be finished during summer, then announced but couldn't keep their promise and took longer tham they expected.

But I would prefer to take longer if it means a better game.

Well from the sounds of it most of the work on the game now is debugging to make all the characters balanced and Samus (suited one) they said was the strongest. Must be a pretty hard job. I also hope the online multiplayer is decent enough to play so I can see the exact location of each character all the time (because MK7 was a little funky when racers fly way off the track).

Since they delayed the 3DS version, why not add some more characters. I truly think the game would have an even better chance if characters like Chrom and Mewtwo were added. Sakurai did say that they were thinking about adding Mewtwo and I think most fans would be overjoyed to see Mewtwo back in the Smash Bros. series.
