im no stranger to capcom doing crazy things in their games, but after seeing people spend practically half an entire afternoon on one or two sections of a chapter in jake and sherry's campaign i think they mightve gone a bit too far this time... normally this isnt that hard of a campaign but on no hope pretty much every horde and enemy is literally a crisis--one hit from anything: yes, im serious... anything. every attack in the game apparently is now instant death instead of high damage. this pretty much forces you to stay as close as possible to your partner and definitely requires a co op with an actual player. which means sections that force you to split up can mean getting screwed just by being attacked once... you are put into an automatic dying state and due to the enemies already being very aggressive you almost certainly die from the second death when your partner cant reach you. of course ammo is also very, very limited and you have to run from almost everything because of this. and apart from this cluster of madness you cant use any skills--not even normal ones (which wouldve been nice even if unlimited ammo wasnt allowed in no hope). if you were to use defense lv 3 had we been able to use skills though, im not even sure if that would stop the 'die from every attack' mess here tbh. more than likely it would leave you with one square of health if you could use skills (assuming youre at full health as well which is rare in this case).
resident evil 5 professional wasnt much better but they did let you use infinite ammo. i saw a couple guys try it with infinite ammo and they still died a heckton (not from rocket self destructs tho, from enemies). i feel like that wouldve been normal in resident evil 6 even if we were allowed to use unlimited ammo. what are your thoughts on this? think they went too far? its hard for me to say they didnt but i suppose it has to be called no hope for a reason lol...
