Splatoon 2 Retro vs modern splatfest

So we have a new splatfest which is retro vs modern, me and everyone I’ve seen so far are choosing modern, so what are you picking?

If I had the game I would probably choose modern because I just like modern more. Retro is pretty cool though.

Well, I've figured it out when this Splatfest isn't happening this weekend. Apparently the news says the Splatfest will start in around September 21st, while we already know that Nintendo Switch Online will start in around September 18th, so I'm not joining sides as for now.

I’m 100% going for Team Modern. I shall support my lovely Marina, and let’s not forget that you’re playing Splatoon 2 on a modern console. Don’t get me wrong, Retro is always good, because we wouldn’t have games like Splatoon 2 without retro games, but still, I’m going Team Modern on this one.
