This is a fairly simple technique. Feint jumping is used to throw off your opponent. It is essentially a quick double jump. To do it, just double jump immediately after you jump. If you did it right, you should do the double jump animation immediately after you are off the ground.
This is difficult to read so if you are dealing with an aerial attacker, use this to throw them off and plan a counterattack.
