rocket league: are the paid cars worth the money?

when i play rocket league i often i see people who buy these cars for 3 or 4 $ and often i am one to buy one too but come on mate 3$ for a jeep rangler ? someone pls tell me why

Some of them can be p2w, but a lot of pros use the octane

i know the dlc ones are cool but im talking the hot wheels cars,the batmobiles , and the fast and furious cars come on mate
