Roy for SSB4?

Hello there, and I would like to ask if you think roy will eventually be included in SSB4? Would you like Roy to be released as a DLC character?

I think that I might as well say that he has some potential to eventually be a DLC character for Super Smash Brothers and I also think that he will be good . I always like enjoying new characters :D

That thread seems quite interesting. The fact that things like that are included in the update could mean that there is some development of these characters in progress. Ryu being included is Interesting though... and I too enjoy new characters. A Character I hope to see put up for consideration is Banjo and Kazooie. But the thing with DLC that sometimes make them not as enjoyable is that they are sometimes not balanced as fairly as they should be, and In my opinion the mewtwo DLC need some balancing.
 
The moment I saw the Smash Ballots, I just thought of how much Roy would be voted. He's an okay character, and I would be fine if there weren't any better character choices to add, but we don't really need another clone before any other new characters, unless they made any character changes, which is highly unlikely. I also heard Roy was just promotional for his Fire Emblem game. Although, Nintendo probably will just go with the majority and add him anyways.
 
If Roy is really being added, I hope Nintendo doesn't make him another marth clone. They could instead use his FE:Awakening Outfit and change his moveset to allow the use of his two blades. That would make Roy a unique character, plus I would LOVE to see a dual sword wielding smash character.

Also, if Ryu from Street fighter is actually being added, he'd be the second Capcom rep. Knowing Nintendo, I'm certain they wouldn't allow capcom special treatment and only allow them 2 characters. So this could mean Sega and Bandai Namco could have their own 2nd reps as well. As for who they are, we'll just have to find out. (I hope for Klonoa as Bandai Namco, and maybe a Valkyria chronicles character for Sega)
 
I just really hop that Roy gets added to Smash because he could be another fun character to play as in smash and it would be the third character brought back from melee that wasnt in brawl that would be in smash 3DS and Wii U.

Yeah I really hope that Roy come back because out of all Ssbm representatives, Mewtwo, and Dr. Mario were brought back and Roy was famous during that era so he needs to come back. And Masahiro was bringing clones to the roster so he can be the better Mario. Like that would be awesome.
