Samsung Pay - Is it Safe?

Okay so I've been seeing a lot of commercials and I have had the Samsung Pay app installed on my phone for quite some time. I havent put any of my credit/debit cards on it yet because I want to assure if it's safe. I understand that it's convenient to use your phone to pay with cards and all but I'm concerned if in the event of losing my phone (god forbid) would I potentially be giving away my credit/debit card information to some stranger that finds it? I want to feel 100% safe before I put my cards on it otherwise I'll just leave it be and pay normally. I'm assuming it has to be somewhat safe in that event if Samsung wants us to start using phones to pay but I can't trust my opinion on that alone. Anyone that knows about the security of Samsung Pay please provide information about it.

Not very sure it's safe but I've seen several commercials as well with it being better than the IPhone pay.
Not sure if Samsung has a support service, you could call up a chat or call if they do(They should)

I feel that it's suspicious that companies like apple and Samsung are wanting to keep track of credit cards. I think it's best that you keep your banking account safe by not using the app.
 
I know what you mean. I mean Samsung is a reputable company, so most likely they won't create something that creates a privacy invasion. ( I hope ;-; )

Buuut, since stuffz happen, I would wait and see what other people think of it. Ask around, and maybe do some more research. :3 It's generally new right? I'm assuming it'll take some time for people to find the flaws in it >.<'
