Satanic Pokemon

Now as I said I'm Christian so I'm automatically programmed to think everything is satanic right.(Ok that was a joke)but people(including old auntie Bobby)thinks Pokemon is satanic which is...just...completely stupid I mean the pikachu I've had since gen 3 is not santanic I mean I've only seen it hang out with mr pickles once.But really anyone who still thinks Pokemon is satanic than maybe you should look in the mirror because you might not be all kid friendly.

The only reason I can think of people thinking of Pokemon as satanic is that they wish to restrict/control what their children interact with under the guise of "protection/concern" or the occasional case where they're really just paranoid.

That being said there's always going to be something someone doesn't like and they'll use whatever authority they can to back them up. I'm not saying that all christian and religious people automatically fall under this but it happens. Heck, this morning I was watching some youtube videos with a friend that claims magicians are using demons and devil contracts to pull off their magic tricks all the while I was thinking, "this person probably didn't get picked as a volunteer at a magician show and has held a grudge ever since."

If it's any consolation though the Pope deemed Pokemon to be okay years ago so really the only thing stopping those children are if their parents deem it so. Also I don't believe this would be a very good topic to continue discussion seeing as religion is a touchy subject for a lot of people. (Yes, despite the fact that I've put my two cents into it.)

It all really matters on the type of person,I'm only really talking about one religion and I doubt anyone would be offended considering I have not said anything bad,Also something being satanic or evil doesn't necessarily have to do with religion.

Still, you'd be surprised what can potentially offend people, and while it's true that satanic/evil claims aren't necessarily tied to religion they are not mutually exclusive. Also the bringing up of religion in the OP kind of implies that even if it wasn't the intended case. Not only that but Pokemon's suffered a lot more evil/satanic claims from other religious groups than just christian.

But at any rate that again doesn't mean all of these claims stem from that, it just happens to be for better or for worse the more well known cases.

I use to think it was a lie too... but Look up Baphomet and satanic symbols, some of the Pokemon
are satanic (not every single one, some actually are just for the game) Every Pokemon
with three fingers are always doing a symbol, supposedly Poliwhirl and Arceus are symbols too.
I still love the series, but I won't be too excited to play every game...

That's are really stupid claim that people say"oh something has three fingers it's SATANIC!" but that's not true if I lose 2 fingers am I suddenly satanic.

I'm not even gonna ask why having/using 3 fingers is considered satanic, but it reminds me of a problem that the Oddworld franchise bumped into when released in Japan; Mudokons in the Abe's Oddysee all have 3 fingers and a thumb as part of their species appearance, however there was a Yakuza equivalent of a trademark on having that many digits because of meat-packers who would accidentally cut off their fingers while chopping. This is considered putting that person at a sub-standard position in society.

So instead the japanese release made them have 2 fingers and a thumb, while subsequent games followed suit internationally.

If you absolutely want to make an debate that this franchise or that are satanic then okay, but please actually get your evidence and targeted franchise straight before constructing your case. There are a few people out there who will say Pokemon is demonic and to prove their point will use Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for example. Cowboy Bebop at his computer in effect.

I've watched a YouTube video before where the you tuber talks about why some people claim Pokemon is satanic. One of the real stupid ones was apparently if you play one of the scenes in an episode from the original series, can't remember which one, Ash exclaims 'I love Satan'. Now that's stupid. I know Nintendo has put a backwards message in an episode before, but really? And seriously, to find this out that Pokemon-hating weirdo would literally just be watching hundreds of Pokemon episodes backwards to find out if there are any links to satanism. What the heck is going on nowadays?

Like I said, if you know about them they can't mess with your head. I still like Pokemon, but it DOES seem kinda coincidental
that there's so many Pokemon that kidnap children, eat people ect. It IS a game but, isn't it creepy that
everyone: the NPCs and the actual gamer(s) are OK with this?
