Saving Twice?

Did anyone else do this? Saving twice in a Pokemon game, just in case you imagined that first save, and you're not sure you actually saved or just thought about it, and you're worried all your hard work will be washed down the drain if you flip that Off switch? Heh. I did. Still do. Mostly in Pokemon games, or now in MH4U or any title that makes you save manually. I'm not sure how or when I started double saving, but I'm sure it started with the early Pokemon games.

I remember doing that back when I used my physical copy of Blue version and some of the DS games but now I don't out of habit.

I sometimes do the save twice thing. Especially after I catch a legendary or hatch a shiny Pokemon. I also sometimes save twice when I'm playing late at night and I have a brain fart and can't remember if I saved or not.

My first pokemon game was platinum, so I would know when I was saving, after repeatedly checking to see if it was done(it was the longest thing i had to wait for in any videogame ever)

I save twice in older Pokemon games like Platinum, Yellow, and others. But I don't do that anymore but I do heal twice because I always forget if healed or nah. But I do save twice if something important happens but I wish Pokemon auto-saves exists and a option to turn it off.

yeah when i forget if i had just saved or not, but thats easier latly since it tells from what time your last save was. Early on when i had caught a shiny, and i'm talking a long time ago, i saved twice as well.

I think I save at least 3-6 times before I turned off. Just to be safe.

I'm so glad i'm not the only one to actually save twice when playing Pokemon. To me it to is a habit. When i'm online I know it saves right before you trade or battle but I save even right after that when i'm either gonna turn off the game or going to perform another action. When I battle someone and it was a intense one I always save afterwards,when I catch a shiny I save twice,when I hatch a perfect IV Pokemon I save twice,when I train my Pokemon for a pretty LONG time I save twice. I can't help it,I just have this nagging fear that all my progress will just go down the drain if I do not save,and probably because I sometimes forget MANY things.

Sometimes I end up saving 3 or 4 times before I turn off the game, because I worry I've forgotten to. But I have ADHD so that might be a part of it.

I purposely do it when I catch a shiny sometimes.

I always do this in Pokémon x and y or on ORAS. One time I caught a shiny tranquill in Pokémon y and I was doing my math homework and then I wasn't paying attention. I logged off from the pc when I saw it when I caught it ,but I didn't save it then I was so mad afterwards I didn't even write my name on my homework luckily I still got credit for it Lol .
