So this is something I've always wanted to do here: Let's make a scenario! Nintendo has allowed you to make your own game, and you can be the star! Tell us everything about it, don't skimp out on the details! Show off screenshots, drawings, and anything you have. Don't worry about being realistic, just dream and have fun! :)

Dan vs. Machine

My game would be an open-world RPG of sorts, where you run about platforming through a town with a lot of runaway robots. The bots have gone out of control, although they're usually friendly and human-owned. Your job is to bring your team of robots through town, including Cozmo, Sphero's Ollie, and some kind of drone. The bots can get to places you can't get to as a human, and you are their commander in turn based battles. Ollie for instance is quick and can drive up walls, while the drone can fly for a short time. Each bot will need to recharge frequently, but you can upgrade their batteries. The battery levels are basically HP, and drain when doing anything, like in Chibi-Robo. Wall outlets and sockets act as HP restore points, and let you save as well.

Battles are turn-based, where you send in the bots as your team of fighters. You can have three bots in battle at once, but you'll likely encounter the rouge robots in squads. Most battles will be a 3-on-3. You can help the bots in battle, but not interact with the rouges directly. Your goal is to defeat the opposing team by draining their batteries, which will reset them from their rouge state.

Apart from battles, the game is open-ended and fun to explore. Dan controls like a normal human, and can run quickly for a short time. But when you control a robot, their battery drains and the perspective switches to their level. Here, you'll find secrets, race other robots, and complete missions for others.

I guess I'll be first: I've always enjoyed open world games (Minecraft, Zelda:BOTW, etc) where you can sort of just do whatever. My game would be this (this is quite a doozy of a post):

TLDR; nations game, create countries.

Grasp of Power: Struggle of Alliegance

The title is pretty bad, but I couldn't think of anything else. Anyways, here we go:
This game's main feature would be being able to create nations on any planet you choose (you could even create a custom planet). When you load up the game, there would be a universe creation menu. This is similar to a spoiler (
this thing
) , where there would be drop-down menus. You could create different planets in the same universe, about 20 per universe. The planets could even contact each other, go to war, have alliances, diplomacy with one another, and many other good things.
Once you have your planet, you would select an area, with rectangle selection, circle selection, or freehand selection, and then a menu would show up, asking you for basic details (i.e. the name of the country, the government type, like a democracy, a dictatorship, etc, etc. There would be an in-game flag creator too!) Once you did that, the nation would be born. You could have a flat Mercators projection or a 3D view of the world, though the flat map would use less resources. You would be able to switch between satellite view, and map view (what you would see on google maps). You could also create about 30 nations per planet, but you can set a cap to this. Furthermore, rebellions might happen inside the countries Now, this is where the fun starts. You can change the leaders in power, the jobs and population. Now, there would be different modes; Effortless (turmoil from inside your nation would be eliminated and everyone liked whatever you did), Normal (some turmoil would happen internally and you would have to deal with it), Relentless (more internal turmoil and assassinations take place), and Realistic (truly terrifying; a realistic-esque simulation of the world.)
Now, let's talk options. Graphics settings can be adjusted; there are individual sliders and numerical input areas in an advanced menu, but the simple menu would have different modes, from least to greatest; Potato, Low, Moderate, High, and Powerful. Weather could be toggled on and off per planet, or per area a planet.
Also, you would be able to choose what citizens wear, based on their jobs; you can simply import files. There would be templates provided for shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, shoes, socks, hats, and clothing in general, that would let you choose what your citizens wear.
Furthermore, there would be a "Down to Earth" mode, which let you see things from the perspective of a citizen of your nation. You could just run around in the town. There would be first person and third person mode. You could even give yourself superpowers predetermined from a list, and soar all over your country! Of course, if the superpowers ingame the list aren't enough...
This might be a little tough if this was on a Nintendo system, but there would be mod support of some sort. Not just for superpowers, but for the game in general. Want more options for flags? Mods are your answer. Want more features, and an even more realistic experience? Mods are still your answer. My idea to actually get the mods on the system is that you could use a microSD card to install the mod onto the system, and then leave the card aside for later.
The game would have online capabilities, and they would NOT require a paid online service. You could download universes, and even make little "quests" where you had to fulfill objectives to succeed. A video editor, much like the one in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, would be included, however it would be a little more open. More opportunities to use subtitles, some sound effects, all that jazz. You could create videos with mods, too! You could even make movies, and you could upload those videos. It would kind of be an in-game social media. You can download those exceptionally long videos/movies onto your system for later viewing.
Free updates would happen which would include new features, new modes, tweak settings, among other things. Though I'm not sure what else they would add. This is hypothetical, so it doesn't really matter. There wouldn't be paid DLC. You'd only pay for the game.
Yes, this game would support VR. It would be pretty incredible to say the least!
Finally, let's talk prices. This game would be packed with so much stuff that I don't know where to start.
$60 is the normal price for a console game these days, so we could settle at that, I suppose. The most expensive price I would be willing to go is $85. That sounds reasonable enough.
This is likely an impossible game, or at least a game that would have an immense file size, and/or a long, LONG time to develop. Nonetheless, it's fun to dream. I definitely took inspirations from some other games, so thanks to them for the original ideas.
Overall, this is my dream game. Thanks for reading this whole thing! There may have been a few things I missed, but this is in general. Hopefully there weren't much typos that I missed.

I came up with this idea so great that only I could come up with it and as far as I know this genre doesn't exist yet.
Outlaw: Artisan Edition
You may think this is your basic 2D shooter but think again because Artisan knows you think it is. Behold this top down shooter with multiple weapons, armor, and skills. Think this sounds like a death battle? It's because it is. You travel through time so you get a basic this-town-isn't-big-enough-for-the-two-of-us shoot out to space warfare to even afterlife warfare and believe me you'll want to try all of them or else you'll be missing out. Think this is something you seen before. THINK AGAIN. You get to customize your weapons and movement options but your health bar changes based on your choices. There's a story mode and a PVP mode and a ranking system for each setting. Did I mention it's top-down?

Controls:
Tap screen to teleport, jump, roll, barrel roll.
Move your character normally: Left or Right Joystick
Move your target reticle: Left or Right Joystick
Auto aim on/off: L or R/A or B
Shoot: L or R/A or B

Weapons:
  • Guns*
  • Cannons*
  • Shotguns*
  • Molotov Cocktails*
  • Missiles**
  • Bombs**
  • Kamikaze Allies**
  • Arrows***
  • Spirit Bomb***
  • Plagues***
Armor:
  • Back To The Future armor*
  • Barbed Wire*
  • Horse Stampede*
  • Radar Jam**
  • Asteroid**
  • Fire***
  • Pure Light/Dark***
So yeah I call it a real time Shooter RPG but maybe that goes into another genre.
And I appear as the shopkeeper who is also a secret boss.

So assuming Dan vs. Machine did well on the market, here's my idea for a potential sequel: a game that glitches...on purpose!

Dan vs. Machine: Hack Attackers

In this direct sequel to Dan vs. Machine, Dan and the 'bots have set their town straight, and all the rouge robots are back under their own control. Dan takes a break to visit a friend (a fictional guy named Ramon) who's been developing an immersive VR game, that uses a very special headset. This headset does more more than just show a 360 view...it links to a person's mind and programs them "into" the game! By the time Dan gets there though, Ramon's garage has been ransacked, and the game has been hijacked! As he tells it, some programmer bullies from his school broke in and bugged a ton of viruses into the game, and now it's too unstable to fix!

Dan volunteers to help, and Ramon programs him into the game, along with digital versions of the 'bots. Since the game is so glitchy, Dan can fall through floors to find secrets, jump multiple times mid-air, and learn other weird ways to get around as he restores the glitchy spots in the game. Ramon acts as his eye in the sky, giving him objectives and other help along the way. Before long, Dan meets one of the programmers, who appears to be trapped inside the game! But how? A mystery unravels as Ramon may know more about the game's issues than he's letting on...

Instead of fighting rouge robots this time around, Dan and the 'bots are up against glitches. They fight by attacking Dan's digital code in the game, which acts as an attack. They can also scramble Dan's team's code, messing with their status and inflicting other ailments. Dan and the bots fight with their new patch attacks, which can help cure the glitches and erase them from the game. The glitches get smarter as the game progresses, meaning Dan and the team will have to use some purposefully game-breaking moves to break through!
