What's the point of selling at the Nookling Junction? Some items you can't sell, the items go for less, why would you sell at nookling junction? I want to know

...I think it's just for player's convenience, if you really want to buy the things but there is no more space in your pocket, you can sell your tools or somethings else and buy the things.

Oh yeah you also need to sell to upgrade the shop

Actually, you've got that mixed up a bit. If you're selling technically they would LOSE money, sending them in the opposite direction for being able to upgrade.

Anyways, I agree with @145 here. I only really use it for if I'm too lazy to go back to my town and dump out what's in my pockets inventory.

I agree with 145, since I tend to have my pockets full. It is true that the Nooklings give you less than what Reese gives you, but many players want an item but can't since their pockets are full. If that is the case, the Nooklings offer you to take the unwanted items off your hands so that you would have enough space for your wanted item.

Well, I always go to Reese to sell my items. She always gives me more plus there have been instances where I walk in and I help a villager buy an item.

I've always sold my items to Reese. I didn't even realize you could sell at the Nookling Junction, haha. But then again, selling hasn't really helped me get rid of these neverending home loans, so. ;(
