Selling old consoles

Would you ever consider selling your old consoles for a reasonable price? I have recently visited e-Bay and Amazon and there is a wide variety of old consoles which are being sold for a pretty good price.
Personally, I own a couple of old consoles that I would like to sell, but I think that I will wait in order to receive more money. Imagine selling them in 30-40 years for $3,000! I own an ancient Gameboy which could easily be sold for $500.

No, I would rather keep them for good times sake. Who knows, I might suddenly get an urge to play them.

but yeah, since they are very rare to buy, you'd make so much money! xD

Often when I sell consoles I end up buying them back - I'm learning my lesson, ha ha!

Btw, what makes your GB so valuable? Brand new original models (still sealed) sell for less than half that price. Unless that is what you are guessing the price will be in 3o years ...

Never! My old consoles are ancient and precious things to me. They are going to be my souvenirs from the past...

I would hang on to my consoles, always

That doesn't mean you can't get rich selling the rare ones.

I'd keep them though Sentimental value and whatnot.

I never sell old consoles, mainly because I know I would regret it. I enjoy playing the older games still, so there's no use to sell them for me.

Depending on the console I would sell it. would sell like my Wii, but not anything like a GameCube, N64, NES, or SNES. However if you did you would be able to make a nice chunk of money. Depending ing on how many games I had for the console would help in my decision.

I'm torn because of the amount of money they'd be worth in the future and the fact that I'd love to show my kids what we had as we grew up. Hopefully by then we'd be playing games SAO style or whatever.

But too the fact I'd keep thinking about what i had just done and that nagging feeling of "Hey Jeff, you shouldn't have done that...you should've kept the system." Would drive me mad.
