If you bought the Wii U, did you sell the Wii or did you decide to keep it?
I'm thinking of selling mine. I still have my GCN to play those games so there's no point for me to keep it since the Wii U can do everything else.

I didn't get the Wii U but I did sell my Wii to my co-worker because it was just collecting dust. If I were you I would definitely sell it since you won't be using it. ...or perhaps you'd consider trading it for something else.
