Gen 6 Shiny Pokemon: Why so Popular?

Shiny Pokemon are surely Rare, like 1/8001+ . But Every new Gen they become even and even easier,
Sure Every Shiny Hunter ad it Rage Moment of aciddentaly run or kill the pokemon OR even a pokemon kill other in Hordes(*cough cough Geodude*) or new players that dont know what are shiny and run of it . They are like to be Trade Coins (EX: 2 Shiny Pokemon for a 5 IVs Pokemon and Stuff). Sometimes a single hunt is just 100- Encounters and sometimes its 1000+ Encounters, maybe thats why the think shiny pokemon so valuable? they have a different collor and sparkles everytime they enter in battle, thats why people love shiny pokemons? i want YOU opnion, fell free to comment ;D

Whenever people see you have a Shiny Pokemon, it's 2 things they know: You have put a lot of time and dedication into getting it, and you have the determination to keep playing the game for long hours, even if you don't get a Shiny.
The colors of some Shiny Pokemon are simply great, IMO.

Well to me I can find at least one once a day if I try looking for Shinies (thanks to the charm).
Shiny Pokemon are attractive to fools (Unless they look decent/ have perfect stats). I say yes to the first question.
Shinies are collectors items made to make you think you are special because you have a certain shiny that many others don't have and they can be hard to get.
Shiny Pokemon have more value if there's a small amount of them in existence and if you are connected to it because you caught it/ it looks great. (That makes shiny Gyarados the least valuable)
Shinies are popular only because they are/were rare and they are different.
I've never lost a capture of a shiny but I have gave one away that I caught to someone I don't know. Not a big deal because now I have lots of similar shinies.

Shiny pokemons do look attractive but it's actually useless that's what I think. Shiny pokemons have a higher value than normal ones since their rarer than the normal ones. I tried to do shiny hunting for 1 hour and got nothing.

I think that most people like to use shinies just because they are a lot harder to find in the game and it some of them look a lot cooler than there original colors!

I think Shiny Pokemon are cool, it's a great way to start a collection, or just make your Poke-team look pretty.

I do think some Shiny Pokemon have more value than Normal Ones, it depends on that Pokemon and Trainer.

Why They're so Popular?
Shiny Pokemon are popular because the're rare, and some have unique colors to them, I personally don't care if my Pokemon are Shiny, but it's nice to have one on your team.

I've never caught/seen a shiny in the wild, before Pokemon X/Y I never had a Shiny Pokemon on my team, I didn't think much of it though, I thought it'll be nice to have one, but it doesn't really take/add to the Pokemon's performance in battle(s). Now, I do have a few pretty Shinies I got from trades, and I cherish them, the're more like a trophy for me.

I think shiny pokemon are popular since they're rare but many pokemon just pokegen in shiny pokemon so that sorta lowers the sight of a shiny pokemon in competitive play

I dont think shiny pokemon attracts new people to pokemont hat much. New people prolly wouldn't even know what a shiny is, and would prolly run from it.

I think shinies are awesome..I like the mechanics of it to all the differnt colored shinies out there. Also I'm a big fan of shinies that are barely differnt than the regular sprite/model.

Shiny pokemon have more value than regular pokemon because of the rarity. If you dont like a certain shiny, you can find someone who does, and trade it for legends or event pokemon.

They're popular because it;s differnt and they're rare. so when you put that pokemon to battle online, everyone can see and be exited of your rare pokemon.

They are so popular because they are rare and sometimes they can have better colorings than the origonal Pokemon. Other times, not so much like Garchomp for instance,

I guess just because they are so scarce, they become objects we are all drawn to getting. I don't actively try catching them, but I definitely like the looks on some of them. I guess a shiny Pokemon is like a dollar coin. It doesn't have any different in battle (as a dollar coin has no difference in value), but they are so interesting and novel, we just love getting them.

What i find this can be a new challenge to other poemontrainers to figure thwir skills.of finding these valuable pokemon, finding and captured them give a very happy moment,..I had felt it ,so I know how it was..shinies may look different fromm normal,however that gave them the exotic look which got so interest in many trainers .. shinies is just so awesome..trading them is the best way to get legendaries to your hand through gts for instead..

1/1000 is approximately though..tje chances may varies to many from the encountered in tall grass and to breed it using masuda method.. 1/64, 1/8096/, 1/1024,... Many more..just make an approxe or estimate
