Mario Kart Should DLC for Mario Kart 8 & Other Games Exist After the Villager?

DLC is something Nintendo strayed away from until 2013 when they released New Super Mario Bros. 2 & they released Coin Rush DLC (don't quote me) & now they're releasing Link & Villager DLCs do you think they should continue after this or not? Vote below.

I don't see why not if they do it right. Nintendo has been doing DLC right so far, to stop now would only make them go backwards instead of going forwards and getting with the times. I applause Nintendo for doing DLC and hope they continue forward and also it's not a bad practice unless you do it right and of course it's "optional"

In my opinion, Nintendo should continue like they are doing right now with the DLC's as they are really a great addition, and can add more content to an already amazing game like Fire Emblem: Awakening. As long as the DLCs are optional, I wouldn't mind if Nintendo release a few extra vehicles and/or skins to add to your Kart collection.

Yes, its always good to keep games alive for more time making DLC, but just if it was made post-development, if the content was cut-off just to make DLC, or even worse, Disc Locked Content, then its a HORRIBLE thing to do.
The MK8 is great example of DLC done well.

well . . . In my opinion i really think that DLC's shouldn't be paid as you buy the game and you want to enjoy it as well as playing online (if the game has it) and if they release paid DLC's for like better cars and stuff and some (maybe rich)people just get it then it just over powers everyone and you would only stand a chance if you bought a DLC - I think that if theres DLC's there should be a like secret way to unlock them like after you finish all 111 quests or something. That way when you get the DLC its a achievement

DLC easily helps breathe new life into a game, since you have access to more/new content. This can be extremely helpful for very popular games, Mario Kart 8 for example. While I always find myself having a blast every time I boot up the game, things can get repetitive rather quickly, thus each sitting isn't really that long. I agree, MK8's DLC is indeed a good example of doing it right, and is sure to plug in more hours to an already wonderful game (even though the release dates are arguably quite a ways away)! So as long as the content is optional/fair-priced/etc., this should be a positive yes, in my opinion.

Hoping for more DLC's for Mario Kart 8 in the future. I think though that both DLC's should have been cheaper. Overall all though, I'm really excited! Does anybody know the SPECIFIC date for both DLC's though????

I think DLC is good for people who like them, even though I never buy them, as I find them useless after I paid $60 for the game. I don't like to spend more money on the same game after shelling out money to buy the game.

exactly ! thats the point you buy the game and paid a lot for it and now they want you to get Dlc's which cost quite a bit considering you already bought their product !

i wish the DLCs were either unlock-able in game or made a lot cheaper ^^

Honestly,I actually want it to continue,but not in a matter in which it becomes exaggerated.I think that one or two more packs of these types of DLC should be enough,since it's still Mario Kart,and not Mario & Nintendo All-Stars Kart.Still,it would be cool to see Captain Falcon or Kirby,maybe even both,in MK8,but that's just me.

So many wanted characters were cut in the beginnig so DLC can bring them in add revive passion for the game. So in simple terms YES LET THERE BE DLC.

maybe in mario kart 9 (if there is one lol) maybe pit,kirby,pikachu, or even samus could be in we will never know what nintendo could be cooking in the future i hope it tastes good!

I won't mind to see more DLC considering its price, but the release date would be for November 2015, considering the wait of 6 months for each pack.

There should definitely be more DLC! It should be interesting what other characters could possibly be in as DLC. Maybe some third party characters? That would be awesome, right?
