Lately, I’ve seen a treasure trove of games that I’m just dying to play. So, I go look them up, and find out they’re only for PS4. It always makes me mad whenever I see that, because then I can’t play games I’ve been wanting for a while, like Detroit: Become Human, Spider Man, and others. Also, I’ve heard that certain games play better on the PS4, like Fortnite, for example. You can also get free games with their online service (at least I think you do, anyway). There’s many reasons to get it, but is it worth it? Should I splurge and buy a PS4 for myself?

This often depends on stuff that is often specific to each person. For example:
-Are you interested in the exclusives?
-Are you willing to pay online (with a few bonuses of course)?
-Are you actually going to use it that much (hint hint my wii u)?
etc etc. I think the exclusives are really the make it or break it part. If you're interested in the exclusives, yeah go for it.

(ps, if you want a really good exclusive and you don't have a ps3, might i recommend persona 5)

I'd highly recommend a PS4. The exclusives are some of the best games made in the past few years (outside of Breath of the Wild), such as Persona 5, God of War, Spidey and soon Red Dead Redemption 2

I often ask myself these questions and I'm genuinely curious to hear from PS4 owners (I don't own one) if it's really worth having it. I mean, considering the exclusive games (which is, in my opinion, the standout point when choosing a console to play) I don't believe there's any doubt that the PS4 rocks awesomely with titles such as the new Spider Man, Detroit: Become Human, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War franchise and many others.

That's true, as long as your PSN Gold's subscription is active, which is mandatory if you wanna enjoy online playing, as far as I'm concerned. Personally, I think it's awesome to be able to get, say, 24 free games by the end of a year-long subscription, even if you don't get to beat half of them by then (my case, since I don't play nearly as much as 3 hours/week).
Add to all that the fact that Sony is going to release a new console (the PS5) in 2019/2020, according to speculations. If this really proves to be true, maybe PS4 could become a little cheaper by next year. That's something worth considering, I guess.

Find at least 5 PS4 exclusives you will buy/really want to play and then imo it's worth buying one.

For me, if I could I'd buy a PS4 in a heartbeat. I don't care about online for that since all the games I want to play on it are all singleplayer. There's just countless exclusives on there I wish so badly that I could play.

I spent 8 years on xbox and i purchased a ps4 finally lol didnt like it at first but after lookin around geting used to it i loved it.. Dashboard is so simple n clean..lots of settings to play with.. Spotiy for ps4... Tones of free games and exclusives.. No tax on games(if u buy from market) etc
