Should I get Mario 3d land on CN?

I have 600 coins and I have no clue whatsoever on what to get. I saw this game though and it looks like it'd be as fun as Mario 3d world ( Which I have) Should I buy it? Or are there other games I should consider?

What I hated about 3D Land :

• Dead easy gameplay. Only gets challenging when you reach the special worlds.
• ...but guess what? When you reach the special world, there are no bosses D: (unless they're in one of the last worlds)
• That's not all folks... The game itself lacks bosses. Three just aren't cutting it imo >.<
• Not really a fan of collecting green stars just to progress in the game.
• If you thought the game was easy, take a good look at the invincibility leaf, ha!

3D World was awesome. I stopped playing 3D Land at some level in one of the special worlds because I got bored of it.

If you want challenging gameplay, you should consider getting Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. I've never played it before, but knowing Donkey Kong games, it wouldn't disappoint. I know some members here have the game so they can share their thoughts about it. Gone are the days of "great" Mario games such as Super Mario Bros. 3 ;-;

PS. You should also wait until the Platinum rewards are revealed. You never know if some of the Feb rewards will show up,

Hm, I agree with Marc. I find Super Mario 3D land to be a game that seems way too easy for the intended audience (8-12 year olds). The game features powerups like the Tanooki suit which make the game tenfold easier, like it already is. I find that my 7-year old sister can play the game without a problem, whereas she struggles on the 2D-style ones.
I'd say you should consider KI:U or Donkey Kong: Country Returns 3D because they are more challenging and fun compared to SM3DL, IMO. If you like a fast-paced shoot 'em up game, then Star Fox 64 3D is for you
As Marc said, it might be worthwhile waiting for Platinum rewards for CN this month.

As it's been said the game is just to easy, I didn't even find myself replaying the levels to get the collectibles.
And the bosses in the game are rather easy.

So no, it'd be better spent on something else.

I agree with almost everything you just said, but to me it is impossible to not consider a replay of the game! I think the 3d visuals are amazing, the level design is outstanding and the gameplay is terrific. I also understand that they could have made it a little bit harder but I think it is a game every Mario fan would love, just give it a second chance.
On the other hand, donkey kong games really stand for a challenge to anyone who wishes to beat the game. I have played it and in terms of gameplay they do challenge you, although the 3d graphics are not its strong points.

The gameplay is good as well as the gameplay but I think you should buy another game or save up for one of the 700 clubNintendo coins game like kids Icarus uprising plus when you finish the game I'm sure you might never play it again if you buy it.

I was actually thinking Super Mario 3D Land would be in the Platinum rewards this year, and then Marc said it. But yes, you should probably wait. If not, then DK Country Returns is the way to go. I've actually never been a huge fan of Donkey Kong games (frankly because I'm bad at them and they're challenging) but they are fun in a way, and if you're a fan of difficult platformers, then this is the way to go.

I agree with what everyone else said. 3d world is a really easy game with not a lot of bosses. In my opinion id say go with either starfox 3d or donkeh kong country returns but wait a while to make sure the games dont show up again as platinum rewards

You should go for donkey kong country returns 3d maybe..... It is a good game eventually you will have a lot of fun playing it... So donkey kong country returns 3d is the game I recommend you to redeem.. Or else you can also wait for the platinum rewards and then buy even better things..

It's not a perfect game, but it's definitely better than new super mario bros 2, which is pretty much an expansion pack for the first one. It may have flaws, but its a new idea, and nintendos first of it for the 3ds. Maybe if they make a second one, it will be even better if they get feeback from customers. I've watched lots of reviews, contemplating wether to buy it or not, and ive decided to, because it looks so great.

Hmm, I guess it's a good deal if you can't find a sale for this title (physical copy). In my country, it costs about $29, almost the same as the one offered in eShop. If you're not after the physical rewards, I'd say you should grab it. I also considered this title if I didn't get the Zelda Pouch. And it's better than New Super Mario Bros 2 since it has a different gameplay.

Or... you might want to reconsider Harmoknight (plus another game). Hehe.

I'd suggest the 3d Land Mario for the quite amazing designs but if you like something challenging, get the Donkey Kong : Country Returns. I personally think you should get the Donkey Kong game because the graphics are just as amazing and its quite addictive. Or get Star Fox 64 3d if you just feel like playing shooting games . I like challenges, so I'm torn between these 2 now. I won't get bored of Dkcr3d anytime soon right? It's a 2d platform so I kinda don't wanna get it xD

If I have too much coins, I would get some N64 games, but you should get what you really really want. Mario 3D Land is an epic game and different of 3D World.

3d land is awesome mainly because of the 3d. In some parts of the game, 3d is necessary (like the illusions one, where u need 3d to spot the difference)

As far as the first point goes, the game is not made for difficulty. The game is made for the variety of levels and 3d.
And the last point about the invincibility leaf, it is made for people who are having trouble completing a stage (some people aren't able to do it. Really.)

I think while 3D Land was an easy game, it had beautiful level design and I did enjoy playing each level. However, it's not the most worthy game on the list.
If you do 't already own one of them, Kid Icarus Uprising and Star Fox 64 3D and wonderful games, worthy of your coins, Kid Icarus is witty, fun, and challenging, while This Star Fox is one of the best in it series.
As someone mentioned, Harmoknight is a fabulous game. I got this one myself. It has extremely cute graphics, polished gameplay, and it's by the creators of Pokemon. There's an eshop demo so you can go check it out if you want.
You could also get DKCR for reasons others have stated. Really, it's all up to your preference in games. This is just how I feel about each game from my experience.

While most of the games they are offering this year are considerably good. I'd recommend getting the Majoras Mask messenger bag. just my opinion though
