Should I get Omega ruby or Alpha Sapphire?

I have Pokemon X and I fell in love with it the day I first got it,and I want to know what should I get Alpha sapphire or Omega Ruby,I heard they were both Really good games,but which one is better?lay it on me!!
 
I don't think there are really too many differences, unless you prefer one legendary over the other. As far as I know, you can't obtain both in either game, so..I think that would be your main decision. They both have great Pokemon in them, and the storylines are average (as always in a Pokemon game).
 
I don't think one is better than the other.

Not to mention the primary team of each game. Alpha Sapphire will have Team Aqua while Omega Ruby will have Team Magma. As for mega stones, I think there aren't any exclusives, just located in different areas of Hoenn.

If your funds are limited I'd say skip it. There aren't really any new features that weren't in X/Y that make OR/AS worth buying.

But, if you must buy one, I'd go with Alpha Sapphire. I just like Team Aqua more :bear:
 
I got Alpha Sapphire 'cause I like the blue color '-'

It's just like that, there are so few differences that you can choose by the color...

OR/AS takes place in another dimension than x/y. Just whatch the game theorists explanation on this.

If I remember right, Game Theorists says that X/Y AND ORAS take place in another dimension from older Pokémon Games...

Id went with alpha sapphire and my friend got omega ruby. When we looked at the defferences, it was definitly clearer what team aqua wanted then magma. I know they want expansion of the land for the pokemon, but it looks like they want it for the humans. Team aqua is pretty clear in that it wants a better place to live for water pokemon. And maxie is trying to be the smart quy of the two, but i think he are just as smart as the archie.

I'd say Alpha Sapphire. Kyogre owns Groudon anyday. I also like Kyogre better. :sneaky:

It's hard to pick I like them both but I'm having the same issue, I would decide on the type I like better, fire or water that should help.

And being Alpha is cool so I don't know....if you like fire types then it's Ruby or if its water then Sapphire.:)

I would just go with Alpha Sapphire just because my favorite starting type is water. Also, Groudon has a big disadvantage against Kyogre, as fire typing is added to his ground typing in Primal Reversion form. Groudon's ability in Primal Reversion form does help with its x4 water weakness, but if Kyogre were to come out second, Groudon's ability would cancel out and Groudon would have be at a huge disadvantage. That is why I would go with Kyogre.

My personal preference will always be Omega Ruby as in the past, Sapphire was the go to game and I liked being the oddball. As for the differences, I personally like Team Magma more so working closer to take them down was fun. I also really like the exclusives.

All in all, it should come down to personal preference and possibly which game your friends have so you can trade back and forth.

I would go with alpha sapphire because the kyogre tops groudon imo. The blue color also has sort of a better feel to it than the red in omega. Both versions are basically the same game when it really comes down to it though. The only real differences are that a) there's different select pokemon exclusive to each game b) in OR you fight team magma while in AS you fight team aqua, you can really go wrong either way just figure out which game box art you like better ;)

Neither is really better than the other in my opinion in terms of content. Its just the same game with different Pokemon (Including the Legendary). I honestly picked Omega Ruby because I liked Groudon over Kyogre. I guess you should try doing the same and see which of the games have the most of what you like. :)

It really depends on which legendary you like most since their isn't much difference between the two games only that the legendaries you pick will result in different legendaries like palkia and diagla,latios and latias and more so on.

if you have anyone close by who ownes either omega ruby or alpha spphire, you should pick what he didnt, just for version exclusive legendarys (and normal pokemon, of course;)). altough i like alpha sapphire more, i had gone with omega ruby if it hadnt been for another friend who had that game already
