Should I get the newer pokemon games?

I honestly do not know if I should by the newer 3ds pokemon games or stick with my old ds games. Should I buy it or should I not? I am intrested and pokemon is cool but I do not know if I should buy the newer versions or not
 
Yes for sure! Nobody plays on multiplayer and there sp many awesome features in ORAS like Better graphics, same awesome storyline and more Pokemans! Plus you can learn competitive battling and then be boss and beat the gym leaders here which I gurantee are wway harder than in game gym leaders XD

Go ahead and get it buddy, like Chopper said it's newer and has a lot more stuff to do. Also think of it like this, you'll have another game to play when you get bored.

I haven't played it yet, but I plan on getting eventually.

Getting the newer Pokemon games for the 3ds is much more of a better choice than to just stay with the old DS games because it certainly has a lot more content and they do have the feature of online battling and trading which is no longer on the old Pokemon games . Plus with the new Pokemons and the Mega Evolution , you should totally get these :D

This makes it clear that this site is the opposite of Gamefaqs where they're like "The story is just a glorified tutorial for the only thing that matters in this game/the only reason people older than 10 buy this game, the online"

Nobody plays on multiplayer in the OLDER GAMES!!! Everyone and I say, everybody plays online and if you don't because you don't like to then, I am sorry, there is something wrong with you :confused: I thought that made sense because I saidyou should try competitive battling lol sorry if I offended you >.<

Ok, thank you. I have decided to buy the newer games. Thank you to you all, I will go for omega ruby. It seems like its a really great game and my friends say it is way way longer and better than pokemon x and y. Well then, I guess alpha sapphire is good too but I love fire types. Will get it soon! Thank you everyone!

Good decision. You will plenty of the funs! \: D/ Go to @Pk1410 and his thread, pay 10 PC and you will get a tutoring session for two weeks and you don't even need your game for it. It will help a lot just ask him for details.

Thanks for the suggestion! It seems pretty cool and cheap too, I can think about that. But I am a bit experienced with the old games but not the new ones so I think I should join it. I think that in E3, a new pokemon game may come out(Colosseum for wii u and pokemon z for 3ds) but I will still buy omega ruby, since I can not wait any longer!

He can help with competitive battling, like with EVs and predictions and movesets etc.

I recommend you get some of the newer pokemon games, if you haven't played gen 5 I really don't recommend it. I'm a huge pokemon fan and own a phsyical copy of at least one game per generation and I say you should get the newest games, and any other new game that comes out

Surely get them! The new games have more awesome graphics, WAY too awesome battle scenes and more. The PSS is a handy feature too! And Pokemon amie is there so tyou can cuddle your pikachus, minuns, plusles and all 721 pokemon.

Go ahead and buy them. You won't regret it. It's worth every penny of it!

Yes you should because the newer games are 3d. The 3d on the games is awesome. Also the graphics on the pokemon game are so beautiful! You will have loads and loads of fun playing pokemon games. I suggest pokemon games to any body who is a fan of nintendo.

Now, I have been a Pokémon fanatic since I discovered this series. My first ever Pokémon game was Explorers of time, closely followed by Pearl Verison about a month later. I just download the OR/AS Special Demo from the eShop, and really want Alpha Sapphire. My only problem, is it worth it? My birthday is on the 26th, and I'm not sure if I should buy it. Please leave some feedback on if I should or shouldn't, and why if you have the time. Also, which is better: Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire?

I would say yes you definitely should get the newer Pokémon games. These new games have actual 3-D models for everything and not just in 3-D background. The Neumega Lucian is really fun to mess around with and put them on a mega Rubion of the Sapphire have a bunch of legendary's in them so if you need to get caught up on your collection you can. These games look absolutely amazing, and with all the customizable character stuff in X and Y why I would totally recommend these games.

The game xy is a whole new region to explore and many more pokemon to enslave (catch).
And if u played the Original rse, then u know that they're already a good game. But now oras adds onto that goodness and makes it amazing.
Our u could just wait for the sinnoh remake, it should come right after pokemon z if z is released
Id love to see the distortion world in even more 3d
