At my school back in the early 90s, we had Channel One. Basically, it was a news program for youth with commercials. Note, most of the kids didn't care about it, but there was this punk kid who would make fun of it. For instance, one time they said something like,"Did you know that Channel One is the most popular among the young age group?". This prompted the response, "I wonder why."
