Hey! What do you think about the 6th gen mechanics. Was everything wrong fixed? Well, there will be always somebody with a complaint about some aspect of the game...As for myself, There are some points I very badly wish there were some changes:
1. Stealth Rock: Yep, Although I guess most people in competitive play regard this as necessary for the game, I would be happy if either the community banned it from competitive play or game freak changed the way it works; Why? It just deals a an unfair and ridiculous amount of damage to pokes carrying two weaknesses to rock. Losing half their life points upon switching looks like a troll. I wish Stealth Rock either dealt a fixed amount of damage to every pokemon or it deal high damage (no more than 1/4 of total life) only to flying pokemon as a punishment for being inmune to other entry hazards.
2. Ice type's weaknesses and resistances: Being Ice type is an ineherent disavantage which exclude most Ice type pokemon from competitive play practically by default. This is how I wish Ice type's chart should be:
Weaknesses: Fire, Rock, Fighting (-Steel, as in Gen I. Steel has become more relevant as it hits hard Fairies) Resistances: Ice, Water (Water and Ice are actually the some element, so that Water is already resistant to Ice; this should be reciprocal).
That being said...What do you think?
