Are there any Silent Hill fans on this forum?It would be great to talk about theories and new game coming out PT,there was originally going to be a direct port of Silent Hill 2 to DS which is pretty amazing,maybe they will port it to 3DS,what do you think?
 
i just had the greatest Silent Hill game in my mind yesternight!!!! i was SO scary that i screamed by myself just by thinking of it:eek:!!! it's the most mind and action challanging of the whole serieso_O!!!! all the fan will scream for it:nailbiting:!! if i could only e-mail KONAMI...
 
Cool,tell me about it,I also have an idea,I think next silent hill game should be more open world exploration survival,like Minecraft,but with horror elements and story,and no builiding

but a preview can't hurt, i hope:

the twins Blanca and Shiro had woken from a shared nightmare at the shopping district, on their way home in the metro-station Blanca had a chill and stood behind, then Shiro enter in the dark half of the world but Blanca didn't, the players must control them simultanously to solve the puzzles and not let either of them die.
  • they see ghostly/shadowed figures of each other when they are in different worlds.
  • the mirrors shows the other half and they only can communicate by use them.
  • the bosses must be defeated simultaniously, but they have a shared health, and the bosses can only be reached if both Blanca and Shiro open the door at the same time, otherwise Blanca says "i have an awful chill about this, maybe i shouldn't go in now." and Shiro says "something don't feels right... maybe i should wait.".
  • the PlayStation and Xbox versions have controller setting like this game or multiplayer in spit-screen, the nintendo version have one character for each screen.

Silent hill 2 was what brought me into the game industry as it's a manifestation of the main characters guilt over killing his wife showed me the maturity that games have, The problem with the series came once it was more about what you see than what you don't and then out sourcing it to a company that didnt understand the mythos. I hope the new one keeps the action away and leaves it as more unsettling than jump scares... Maria and her deaths still haunts me (I feel scared for my girlfriend lol)

If you liked Silent Hill 2,you should really play Silent Hill Shattered Memories,it is made by climax,but its amazing,while it is a remake of Silent Hill 1,it takes much more inspiration from Silent Hill 2,and only that it has multiple endings,but different stories based on how you play,it also doesnt have jumpscares,and its only silent hill game that doesnt have cult along with silent hill 2
