how good are you at MK? Are you born skilled or end up coming last? xD

Once I get the hang of it, I'm actually really good at it. Not to brag, but I've told I'm pretty skilled. ;D
 
I'd say I'm intermediate at the game, but I play it because it's fun.
 
I'm decent at the game, although I'm not a natural. I honed my skills after hours and hours of play, and if I took even a small break, I would instantly go back to where I was before. I feel that in order to be an elite racer, you really need a lot of practice. Practice will give you that little extra edge that you need to be the best.
 
I was really good for a long time! I feel as though I'm slowly escalating downwards on my skill level for it though :/ mostly because of the way I start, I just can't get the hang of the 1 2 3 go boost! I used to get it every freaking time! Now I get it about 2\10 times which is the reason I've been suckimg lately... I guess I'll have to get back to practicing again! :/ :p because I really do have skill at this... Skill that wants to be uncovered!
 
I'm pretty skilled at racing in Mario Kart (Especially 7), but when it comes to battle, I kinda stink lol. I drift more than I should on certain courses like Airship Fortress to gain extreme amounts of speed.
 
Depends on the game. In MKDD and Wii I feel like I'm never skilled but in MK7 I feel like I'm the best player in the world when I practiced at it and got everything with 3 stars.
 
I guess I am ok on MK7 but really bad at the other Mario Kart games, compared to MK7.
 
I'm average at the other Mario Karts, but I usually annihilate on Mario Kart 7. Some of my best courses are Airship Fortress, Waluigi Pinball (especially), and Rosalina's Ice World.

I like (and are good at) those too. Perhaps my kart combination helps because it isn't slower in the water and it has great handling which handling helps better than speed imo because you can make tighter turns.

Yeah, handling is good to have. I should come up with a combination with it sometime.

What's your combination? I use Koopa in the Soda Jet with Red Monster wheels and a Parafoil, which gives me great Speed, Acceleration and Off-Road, but fairly poor Handling and Weight. From what I remember, it has good air speed but eh underwater speed.

Mushroom Wheels/Beast Glider/Gold Kart/Heavy character. The Mushroom wheels are the best imo

I'm definitely good enough to compete in the competitive community, though I will admit most people in the competitive are naturally better than I am. I think simply being in the competitive community has helped me improve to the point where I can beat anyone who doesn't take the game extremely seriously.

Sounds like you'd be fun to play against... If you like I have a challenge setup for whoever wants to do it! Basically for every game we race the loser of every game gives the winner 5 PC (or 3 doesn't matter really...) Anyways if your interested in facing me all you need to do is PM me! SPOILER ALERT* I'm not the best at MK7 so you have a really good chance of beating me :p Soooooo.... come test your mario kart 7 skill you supposedly say you have! ;P If you know anyone interested (if you don't want to...) just tell em you know who would love to face them ;)

I'm pretty good at MarioKart, and it's definitely very fun with how competitive I am. It's been a little while since I played, but I'm sure my skills are still good. It's definitely a very good game, and, in fact, I'm going to play it now! Sounds fun just talking about it! :)

You really cannot beat me in a race with a lot of turns in MKWii. I am a natural at drifting, and that usually makes me end up first.
The bad part about that is, you will be a target for Red and Blue Shells, which can change the entire game once you get hit by those.
The thing I am the worst at, is avoiding falls. You never want to see me play on Rainbow Road or SNES Ghost Valley. I am the absolute worst at that kind of track.

I'm alright, I'd give myself about a 7.5 / 10. I can put up a good fight, and usually win. I've played all of the more recent ones, which are, MKwii (Yeah whatever), MK7, MK8, and I've 100% those games. I still play MK8, and sometime MK7 though. The only thing I really get hit from, and red and blue shells, because I'm often in first.
