So here are some quick tips and tricks on some moves to help you in battle.

B Reversal: Some characters Like Mario, Roy, Falco, and others are what I like to call B reversals. You may have done these unintentionally but what you do is you hop it the opposite direction and press B. If you do this correctly you perform a neutral B in the opposite direction but have your momentum in the direction you were first facing. Great for spacing.

Dthrow to uair: A combo many characters to utilize is this. Depending on the match up and how well your opponent can DI (meaning get away from) you can punish heavily with this and add in a little flavor to your combos. This helps rack up damage quick.

Recovery Options: this is a very critical part in smash. How you get back on can make you or break you it is usually best to recover to the ledge or on the opposite side of your opponent. Don't dash straight at them since they could trump you or bait you. Rolling onto stage can be good but can leave you into a bad spot. Jumping isn't that good unless you can land safely and your opponent can't reach you. A Normal get up is good to not get baited. The worst thing to do is to get up attack. You will easily get punished. Well that's all Love to hear what yal have to say

Don't forget about teaching. You can tech about anything and everything that co!es your way. And teaching spikes is possible. Don't forget reads either you will need to learn the MU ( match up) as well. Like Link Vs Sheik is horrible and learn your opponents weaknesses and what they keep on doing

Sometimes teching is bad since your opponent can actually read them

Yea exactly but its a nifty thing to know. You see you have to learn everything in smash even if its the. Smallest thing.
Like DACUS but teaching is quote fun to do and always a good option as well

Turn off auto correct its teching not teaching XD

If you can pull it off, two more things you could try is Perfect Pivoting and Jump Cancel Glide Toss. A Perfect Pivot is performed by flicking the control stick back and forth in a rapid motion, this causes your character to slide a bit, and let you do anything you want while sliding, so a smash attack or a grab. A Jump Cancelled Glide Toss lets you slide after you have thrown an item by the momentum of the cancelled jump, which can be done with things like Link or Toon Link's bombs. Although these are pretty helpful, I think they are better off for extremely high levelled gameplay.

And remember, shield stun is not in this game, one shielded attack can mean instant punish, so be careful.

The jumb canceled glide toss for link is called the Bombslide its kinda like the DACUS but with a item. Also don't forget jab locks which you can do with foxs jab. You need to input the two jabs fast then quickly press down and repeat the process. Also don't forget jab cancel. Jab cancel is when you cancel your jab at the third jab. Like with a downs smash or up smash and etc

Certain characters are locked at different percent. Mario gets locked at around 80% while link doesn't get locked till about 130%

I don't think tech in this game is really all that useful aside from ruining your opponents prediction game. Dthrow usually combos but not always to Uair or if it does you might have to dash for a really short time to catch the DI. DI works best if you go against the way your moving by 90 degrees like swimming against a strong current. The easiest form of prediction is the ledge getup and it can get you the game or lose you the game. I want to say you can b reverse with every character except maybe Zelda.
