Smash Bros. for New 3DS?

This has just been on my mind. Everyone pretty much knows that there's going to be a new Nintendo 3DS coming rather soon (Except for most western countries, which will be getting it in 2015), heck, even nearly released in Japan alone! Apparently this new 3DS is going to be stronger than the previous one. Makes perfect sense, heck, it's getting me into wanting to save up for it, my poor wallet! It got me thinking, though. Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS has had several technical complications, for it is a REALLY CPU-heavy game for a handheld device. I know Smash Bros. and its release date was announced WAY back, but you think they'd have been working on the New 3DS for months now. Smash Bros. would've been a great example for this new 3DS's potential, wouldn't you think?

Don't get me wrong. Smash Bros. is tons of fun so far, but my poor 3DS must be working its butt off, especially since I downloaded it directly from the eShop.

Do you think they should make an exclusive New 3DS version? That way the developers could toy around with it some more to enhance its performance?

I'm not opposed to it or anything at all don't get me wrong before I even start, its just that I don't believe they will need to make a new version for the new 3DS. The new 3DS is going to have way better everything so ssb4 should run amazingly on the N3DS! So I don't think it would ever happen, but who knows, Nintendo is always doing the unexpected!

You have a point there! Perhaps they'd, at the most, release patches/content that could only be run on the new 3ds? It's decent marketing potential! But you're right. You never know with Nintendo!

No, no, no and no. The 3DS version is great enough, and I don't want Nintendo to try and find another trick to force the 3DS but with Smash Bros. this time. That would be totally unfair to 3DS owner, and don't forget that the N3DS is already getting support for the C-Stick, while us, 3DS owners, can't use the Circle Pad Pro because the game consumes too much CPU power.

It's unfair enough that the new 3DS is coming out so soon. I'm happy they've managed to release Smash on the normal 3DS , otherwise I would've just given up. I just thought about this since this new 3DS needs more convincing game-wise, rather than just pretty covers.

At the rate Nintendo's going, I remain skeptical.
