Smash Bros on Handhelds?

So yeah, the Smash Bro's on the Wii console, but if it came out on the 3DS or any other Nintendo handhelds, would you get it? I wouldn't because I don't like games on handhelds. For 1 thing, screen is too small. I can't concentrated on the game when playing it on handheld. You?

It's pretty Big on the XL I have one the Screen looks Awesome!
I mean i love playing at home but like poratabality of the 3DS.
 
Yes I would. In fact I plan on getting the game for the 3DS hopefully when it comes out next year.
 
Yeah, I don't mind, I'm going to get the 3DS version of the next Super Smash Bros., along with the Wii U version as well.

Well, I don't have the Wii U so I'm only going to the 3DS version, also happy that there is a portable version :p
 
I am all for a 3DS SSB game. I will actually most likely buy it before the home console. I am used to the portable screen so I have no problems with it. Not sure how well it will be against four players though, some sceneries in the past really zoomed out.
 
I would love to one on the 3DS. I think I'd prefer it to the home console versions.
 
I have never played a Super Smash Bros. game before and I'm highly anticipating the release for Nintendo 3DS because that's the only possible game I would get the chance to play. I don't want to miss out on this one of a kind fighting game franchise. Also, I love gaming on handhelds, screens look good to me even on my regular 3DS.
 
Everyone except for the thread starter seems to like the portable or handheld version of Super Smash Bros. It might be a little biased because this is a 3DS webiste, but I think we can all agree that having portability is pretty nice. We can't stay at home all day. Nice to take the game with us!

I'm going to be getting the WiiU version, at least to begin with. I have to say, I'm disappointed the WiiU and 3DS won't be able to play against each other.

Well, there are performance and capacity problems...
So, it would be almost in the range of impossible.

Planning on getting both versions. Really looking forward to playing Smash on the go and challenging/ accepting challenges from people at random times, but playing Smash in HD will be quite awesome as well.

Yes, this game in High Definition has to be a dream come true.
I will try to get one the next year...

Smash on a handheld is a dream come true. Now I can play Smash Bros. anywhere I want, like the school bathroom.

Lol this topic went from Super Smash Bros on handhelds to how disgusting your school toilets are... Lmao.

I wish they could give you a discount if you bought the 3DS and the Wii U version... Also how expensive do you think the Wii U version is going to be because the two games are probably not going to be the same price

I doubt they'd make such a discount, as such is never the case with multiplatform games I'm pretty sure. As for price, they're going to be legit games, so expect $39.99 for 3DS and $49.99 for Wii U
