Smash bros should add voice chat for friends

I believe that there should be voice chat for friends in a smash bros 4 with that there should also be an option to turn voice chat off just in case some people say voice chat makes it laggy.

I really wanna smash with my cousin online with voice instead of holding a phone on my neck which really hurts and its annoying
 
I agree with you! Nintendo you put a mic in the 3ds now use it for online! I really hope they do add it sometime...I really wanna smash with my friend while we talk instead of having a tablet on at the same time...
 
Same with me and @Oshawotron16 we were literally just setting up Skype for that reason.
 
I would work but I don't like the idea. Mainly because you should be able to concentrate, matches would be laggy, and you can already say things with taunts. In Pokemon it's different because it's an RPG and it's not dependent on actions based off timing. And sometimes that voice chat can be choppy and cut out.
 
I wouldn't really think that Smash 4 really really needs a voice chat :p It may add more lag and stuff and it isn't really necessarily needed like some other games may need . But it would be a nice optional idea , but I think there are lots of risks to that :p
 
Voice chat is available on the Wii U among friend matches. 3DS doesn't have it, which is weird since Pokemon has Game Chat with friends. But I think the Wii U having voice chat may or may not be the reason for the 3DS not having it.
 
You can use those taunts but you can't have a conversation with just "Let's go" I really would like to see more 3ds voice chat
in the future other than pokemon. It kind of sucks knowing wii u has EVERYTHING in terms of gameplay settings
the wii u has Special brawl and some other stuff while people on 3ds are stuck without special brawl.

In the end everybody knows the true reason the wii u is so Geared up... Nintendo is trying to save the wii u
 
oh also we have a mic on the 3ds but there are only like 5 games where you can ACTUALLY USE IT!
(Not counting photo gallery and that weird recording thing with the bird)
How come the games where you can use a mic are pokemon and I think tomodachi life.
I just don't see why 3ds doesn't have any mic games when I do think of mic games I think of cooking mama and
pokemon diamonds puffin minigame which isn't a 3ds game so it doesn't count.

Its time we demand a mic game!
 
It can work for other games like Animal Crossing, but I wouldn't like the idea in Smash. It would make the game significantly laggy, people can annoy you and screw you up, and you don't really know who're you talking to. It's not a very good idea all-in-all.

It may be a good idea, but for only when playing with friends. Its pretty obvious why, but it shouldn't happen when playing with random people. They will mock you when you screw up, curse a lot, even start up fights over the internet. Even though many games have game chat when playing with random people, wouldn't be a great idea for smash(even though Smash Wii U has it)

Remember that Mic (hole in the center) they had on the Nintendo 3ds? They should add that back into the 3ds accessories. It would be a fruitful experience if you battle your friends and chat at the same time. I don't understand why they removed the Mic.
