SSB for 3DS Smash Run best character?

What character do you prefer using on Smash Run? I like using Mario the most for it since I gave my custom Mario decent speed and attack so he could blow through most of the enemies easily. Plus he has the Fire Orb move which lets his Fireball attack a lot of enemies multiple times. Plus when he gets a lot of stat boosts he starts getting really strong and sometimes too strong for me to even handle XD. Smash Run is a great minigame, and my Mario benefits the most from it. You guys got a special character you use for Smash Run the most?
 
I like using people who have countering moves where when a monster comes to them, they strike back with serious power, ridding some monsters. Characters include:
Marth
Lucina
Peach
Greninja
Ike
Palutena
Lucario
Little Mac
Shulk
and maybe a few others i missed
Another helpful thing is lucarios aura.
The monsters in smash run are good at stocking up ur damage especially at the end. With lucario u can use that to ur advntage by spamming lucarios specials.
And a piece of advice
OLIMAR SUCKS AT SMASH RUN
 
Shulk and Lucario are my favorite/best Smash Run characters. Shulk because of his Monado Powers being useful in the different Race to the Finish type events, and Lucario, as stated by @kr3rdparty, Lucario's aura ability is always useful, especially combined with the Rage Devil's Pact Payback Smash Extend Strong Punch 200 Attack + 1000 Attack Super Mushroom fully charged forward smash combo.
 
I like to use Ike for the speed and general easiness to use. His side b attack sweeps enemies off their feet and the up b move takes them out of the sky.

I tend to use either Pikachu or Dark Pit, not (just) because i like those characters, but i can also spam they are quite light, pikachu a lot more than dark pit, meaning they can run at a moderately decent pace. They also both have moves that either quite powerful( so that i can take down the enemies faster) or their moves are good whilst running and are quick, but even then their moves are quite powerful in moderation to that (Dark pit's normal A combo)

I personally would suggest fox or falco I like falco more personally because he starts out with a good jump and it wil only get better so if it ends in a climb then you should have it down and I also like fox because he is like falco but instead of a high jump he has a fast run.

I think the best Smash run character in my opinion is Shulk. Not really for the stat boost part which he still does well in but it's the final battle thing with all the characters. If it's the race turn on speed the Climb turn on Jump if it's 300% or Metal or heavy use Smash when their damage is high in regular use Buster and for 300% especially use Shield. Plus while you're collecting stats the Jump and Speed Monados are very useful when trying to travel quickly and if you get to high damage use Shield.

If I was going to say the one I had the highest ranking,it's a customized Palutena.I find it funny,considering she isn't one of my mains as of her default moveset,but customization can take even the character you don't know how to play as to a better fighting degree...excluding worldwide online play,but still. :p

I'd have to go with little mac. He packs in a punch for the on-ground enemies when the round starts. Once you get a huge dose of beneficial equipment, then you can take Mac to the skies.

Link because he is my main and I do so well with him in every game and he is just SOO OP TO ME! Well in my opinion. And he has pretty powerful smash attacks and he got projectiles and they are stong!
