Smash ultimate theory: event mode missing?

The new classic mode makes it so each character gets thier own unique list of challenges that is the same each time, and a name to go with each stage. Could this mean event mode is done? Event mode was originally a list of unique scenarios where characters fight in specific circumstances, but they could just make a bunch of scenarios in classic mode for every character and call it a day.

It could mean Nintendo has decided to not have event mode. Its too bad because I quite enjoyed it in Smash Bros 4. At least this new Classic Mode seems to be really cool this time around.

Looking on a little sneak peek on Smash Bros. Ultimate's menu in the last Direct, I think there might be possibility of Event mode being moved to Games & More sub-menu, especially because it can hold several modes outside of usual Smash battles (like Classic Mode among others). Granted, they haven't revealed what's inside on Games & More section yet, but Event mode is still possible to make the cut.

we havent see all of the menu, i belive it can be in the games & more sub-menu
i dont think they leave that mode out

Just like eonia said it might not be shown yet. Perhaps Nintendo will show the the other menu things someday.

Wasn't Event mode already in games & more in smash 4?

I think it was with Classic but I'm not one hundred percent sure. Maybe it was in games and more.

Guys, the post isn’t about where it should be, it’s about whether it will actually be there. Classic is so similar to event mode it could be they decide not to put it in.
It would obviously be in games and more if its there. I wasn’t saying it wasn’t present in the menu.
