Spin Off SMD's ending (SPOILER FREE)

We all know that mystery dungeon endings always end up being tragic due to the main character being taken away from the Pokemon world to go back to the human world. Well in SMD, the ending.... it's really a surprising kind of end which still makes you feel sad about it. After the intense final battle and saving everyone and what not you don't simply have the tragic ending waltz towards you in a giant cutscene (well actually it kinda is a giant cutscene once you beat the boss), you get to do some moving around and you get to waltz yourself into the sad ending \: D/. Anyhow, the ending just caught me off guard, and ended up making me feel a little sad about it.

So now you know how I reacted, I want to know who all cried, or at least felt a bit sad, when they saw what happened at the end of the game. Did the end catch you by surprise like it did to me? Or were you a neutral that didn't actually feel anything after watching that... Share your thoughts below.

I haven't gotten SMD but but this post reminded me of my reaction to Red Rescue Team when I played it for the first time when I was little. Me and my brother both played it and I remember us both balling our eyes out because the feels were so intense.

The final boss moved me a lot. I was really emotional by the time I reached it. ;v;
