The SNES was just an upgraded NES with more buttons, better sound, graphics, and neat graphical tricks like you will find in GBA games. You really can't compare them. The NES set more of a basis for better games to come so it wins for me. However there were more genres of games on the NES, particularly racing, fighting, and RPG games but those have been done before on computers before their time as well as having RPGs on the NES. The NES is more iconic as well and gives an appeal only Nintendo would have.
