Sonic Advance (GBA)

I started playing Sonic Advance recently - I'd forgotten how good that game is! I think it compares favorably to the Genesis games. And that soundtrack - awesome!

Who else has fond memories of this GBA classic?

Oh yes. my old days playing Sonic Advance. I really loved that game and I still lov it today. It was heaps of fun, had amazing graphics and fun platforming elements.

But the thing is, this game laid pretty much the groundwork for the GBA Sonic games, so that;s why this game should be respected. I am not saying you aren't, but that it laid down the foundation.

I'm actually waiting for a 3DS/Wii U release...
I played those (not legally ) and I loved them.

I have played the original (On Sonic Classic Collection) and I don't have the first Sonic Advance game but I do have Sonic Advance 3. Haven't played it yet to judge but from what I've heard it has improved graphics and sound much like the Mario Advance titles. Maybe I'll love the final boss music even more. *checks music out*

I remember that one of my cousins would let me borrow his GBA with Sonic Advanced 3 in it if I let him borrow my DS. Whenever we met, I made sure to bring along my DS sobI can play his GBA. I eventaully got passed the first boss, and after that, I pretty much never saw my cousin again.

I remember playing that game, I guess I liked it. I don't really know, it's been a long time. I think I might've not been good at the game anyway. I also remember having 2 and/or 3, depending on which one allowed you to team up with the other characters just had other playable characters. If I manage to find a better GBA emulator for the 3DS Homebrew , I might get it.

I prefer Sonic Advance 2 for one obvious reason . . .

. . . is it wrong that the reason why I'm a Sonic fan is for another character and not Sonic?

Sonic Advance 2 IS the better one. And Cream made the game 1000 times easier.

Correction: It's Cheese that made the game 1000 times easier . . . even though it's Cream that commands him. Despite it, Cream did convert me into a Sonic fan. I cannot explain why. She just happen to be my favorite character. Maybe it is because I can relate to her . . .
