SONIC BOOM REVIEW: as slow as a

now many of us have seen the new sonic boom for wiiu, and some of us might be impresed by the high quality graphics and such, but i asure you sonic boom is no sonic game to be impresed with. in sonic boom our very fast hedgehog friend has been turned unbearably slow, joging speed at its highest. thier are moments of the game where sonics going pretty fast running through loops and just being sonic. but those very short moments are usually cut off by very tedious fighting, or some obsticle. nothing like a sonic game. in the original sonic you run fast, sonic fast, and every now and then you have to be careful about traps and enemys. but in this one its not fun, its just tedious work. and ill admit the sorta free roam mode is pretty cool, but if only sonic could go faster then joging speed. other then that it also has tons of glitchs, adding insult to injury. also the horrible jokes in the cutscenes are just as bad as those in sonic lost world, god i never thought i could ever compare another sonic game to that, but sonic boom is alot worse. so with constant glitchs, slow running, and god awful jokes. add it all up and you get sonic boom. i give this game 2/10 stars. for the only parts that feel like a true sonic game. and let me just go for the record, you think this game is bad, you havent even seen the 3ds version. this has been a JB@ review, if thiers any other game youd like me to review let me know.

sonic boo is just a piece of sonic the hedgehog 2006 (yes, the xbox one) but way worst, i mean the bugs, the weird glitches, the voice acting, knuckles with steroids. i would rather play the kim kardashian ios app, which has slightly better graphics than this "sonic" game, ipd give it -10 red shoes / 1,000 red shoes and that is saying a lot. i got dissapointed because i gave my money for a vile carbon copy of remastered E.T the atari game. :mad:
 
ya, it is a disapointment. atleast the opening scene for sonic 2006 was actually cool. this sonic hardly has anything even close to that. horrid jokes, too many glitchs, extremly slow for sonic standards. its just horrible and the higher ups at sega better be pi#### about it

anyways sanic boom is a terrible game its really slow, really gliichy, its stupid sonic looks dumb and knuckles is on steroids and the game sucks.

also the wii u sucks so its even worse then my poo, so its a bad game on a bad system

well een if its not supposed to be a traditional sonic, thiers 1 trait of sonic that needed to be shown more then anything. SONIC SPEED. and yet onlt very few miner parts have real sonic speed. his speed running around the villages and stuff is at most jogging speed. I love how they tryed to change things up. but atleast keep sonic the charecter he once was, the worlds fastest hedgehog.

Sonic chronicles, was a great game and wasn't traditional, so was Sonic 06. Having him go fast isn't always going to be the same. Sonic unleashed tooo! And lots of classic sonic games were platforming not speed

what, sonic unleashed did have sonic going fast. you see thats the genius of sonic unleashed. at day hes the incredibly fast hedgehog. which sonic did have the fast paced running levels. at night he turned into his beastly form. which is the slow paced, epic fighting levels. sonic unleashed was balanced, which made it a good game. haven't played sonic chronicles, and sonic 06 actually had some good points. but sonic is speed, without speed whats sonic. his speed is what makes him sonic the hedgehog. and sonic boom may not need speed to make it a good game, but its just terrible. mix god-awful jokes in with tedious repetitive fighting. tons of glitches. and what do you get, sonic boom. I dont care that they changed sonic up a bit, infact I supported the idea for a new appearance. but its just the way they applyed it to this game. It just isnt a sonic game. It may have sonic in it, but it dosent have the true sonic the hedgehog.

The art style alone made me think the game was going to be terrible.

Well ya.but the changes in looks wasnt what set this game off for me. its how it was to applied to a terrible game that brings segas name in shame.
