When Mega Lati@s is released, which strategy would you rather use? Soul Dew or Lati@site? Which do you think would be a better addition to your team?

Whew, I didn't expect to 'bump' such a forgotten topic... But I would rather choose Latia@site, because you get boosted stats, and a powered up version of Lati@s.

yeah, and especially with all the leaks on the mega forms, I'm not surprised. I mean, ADAPTABILITY LATIOS. It doesn't get any better than that >_> (OHKO Draco Meteors across the board).

Although...some have speculated that Lati@site is actually Soul Dew, but I guess we won't know for a while lol

Lati@site can't be Soul Dew. Because all the Mega-Stones looks like a gem, and Sould Dew is... well, a Dew.
But anyways, That's sure that I'm looking forward to the Lati@site.
 
Hm... Hard to say... Need BSTs... Takes up the coveted Mega slot... Lati@s is Strong enough without A mega... Soul dew is op by itself... Once we get our hands on the stone we can decide

People have already leaked a bunch of stuff regarding the megas, so now is a good time to decide with what we've got. Keep in mind that Latiasite gives Fairy/Dragon typing with Multiscale (making Latios the ultimate defensive dragon) and Latiosite gives an Adaptability boost which will OHKO quite a few things with Draco Meteor (heck, Dragon Pulse will be as powerful as a regular Draco Meteor at that rate).

Soul Dew only boosts by 50% for Special Attack and Special Defense, while the mega forms would probably get a bit of a speed boost as well as a boost to SpAtk and/or SpDef

And more, as we (maybe) all knows, Soul Dew is really often banned from online battles/Battle Maison, while we have no info on Lati@site on this topic. So, the choice is even quicker to do. Just need to re-import my 5IV Latias now, the one that I have isn't that good.

Also, the boost these Mega-Evolutions give isn't negligible, as @naagza said, with Mega-Latios for example, you basically increase the chances of OH-KO on non-OHKO attacks by a great amount.

So, the Soul Dew's era is now behind us !
