Space Pirate Captain Harlock

Most of you are probably not familiar with it but there is an anime from the late 70's titled Space Pirate Captain Harlock. The few who do know of it have probably stumbled upon it through the new CG movie made a few months ago. Well I am just here to recommend it and invite members to converse here about it. I hope to see posts.

I might have seen something on this on ANN, but I've never seen the series.

I just started the anime after watching the cg movie and it was an instant favorite for me. It is from the 1970's the audio and video are not HQ due to that but the concepts and ideas do not usually come across as dated. Often it actually felt like a vacation from some of the more mediocre anime i have seen lately.

Yes The movie was great for something based of such old source material and stayed true to its roots enough. You should watch it.

I don't think it's a anime when I watch it it seems to be a movie and two intergalactic army fighting in space lol
