I am telling you why you should not waste your time trying to scour the Internet for Mewtwo download codes.
  1. He is being released to the general public the 28th of April for only five dollars (duno about you EU folks, sorry), so just be patient.
  2. In all honesty, He really is not worth that much PC for an early release of a fighter for people who have met certain criteria, let alone auctioning him. If you already have a code, I say keep it. Not worth your time selling him.
  3. Lastly, he is just getting too much popularity here imo. He will be released publicy soon, online matches will be flooded with him, some will master him, then they move on to Lucas hype. :p
These are reasons why not to buy/sell Mewtwo, unless you hate him or got like the people in the "Top X SSB Mewtwo Reacys" people. :/

You do make some points there and I'll respect that :) but generally getting a Mewtwo code now is like buying something that is 5 dollars worth and maybe people can't get money to buy it on the eShop so they want to buy codes and they are probably overhyped because Mewtwo is strong

People can get rather large PC amounts by selling/auctioning their codes since the demand is high :p

That's true about number 3 :p

@Marc
I think this should be moved to a blog post..... I dunno

Also yeah it's true, but the again buying it with PC avoids buying with real money

I agree completely because Mewtwo is WAYYYYYY too over hyped. He's not worth it in my opinion. You're basically just getting the same character from Melee. I don't get how that can be hyped to the moon and back. Nintendo said they were working on Mewtwo when all they really did was recycle old animations but to suit the consoles style. It's the same dang move set from Melee so there is no point in getting him unless you are one of those people who want the full roster.

Well..... yeah

well, I really want a mewtwo code because it is overly hard for me to get money and i played with a friend today in smash where i used lucario and my friend used mewtwo and I saw that mewtwo was way OP.

Yea I'm just trying to get the play coins so that I can get the full roster so I don't have to pay the money later on and besides, im trying to be decent with atleast all of the characters on the smash roster and I never did play meles so I wonder how mewtwo will play and if he will fit my playing style

On the contrary, for once, a character whose moveset didn't get nerfed from Melee to 4, that's something you should get. Seriously, if I had to vote in the Smash ballot, I'd vote for Falco, because that's definitely not Falco they've given us.

I'd say it doesn't matter whether someone buys a Mew code before his official release, or if a person decides to sell their code. It's their choice, so it shouldn't be anyone else's concern. Also, don't let overhype automatically get in the way of the quality of the character, as Mewtwo is pretty darn OP, as expected.

I personally think it is not worth it to buy Mewtwo. Even when it comes out, it'll be $5. If DLC will keep selling at this rate, then with Lucas, Roy, and Ryu buying the full game will be around $70. Expect more dlc to come, raising the price even more. If you really want dlc, try winning tournaments for the dlc.

I could not register both ga,es so I could not get Mewtwo. I was thinking of buying him,but now that Lucas was announced I am going to buy Lucas. I was really good with him in brawl.

I feel that it is better to buy the dlc here for quite a lot of playcoins, than to use money in real life on the additional content. And also, I am not really a patient man, and since Mewtwo will not be available in the eShop until the 28th april, I would rather have him early.

There are people like me who can not even buy it because our parents make excuses like it's a waste of money and they wanted codes so they wanted Mewtwo codes online. Also, our parents can't afford them and we just really want Mewtwo.

You shouldn't pay for Mewtwo if you would want any other DLC instead because imo Mewtwo is lower tier than the rest of the DLC characters and the stages are neat anyway. Mewtwo is just lighter and so different and you'd have more fun with Roy for example if you like Melee because he's fast and can kill early.

I believe it depends on your central opinion about whether you want to because mewtwo could have been your smash main ever since the release of melee and he wasn't even present in brawl. But mewtwo in melee went through several changes while transitioning into the smash 4 roster. He is lighter than before and that his combos has been ned down due to the absene of wavedashing but is stronger.
