Stage builder is back now with:
Custom Backrounds
Custom Block Shapes
New items

This is just for the wii u though and is gives us a good idea on how Mario maker wii work too
 
Whoooooooooooooooooooo Im going to draw sooo many.... uh, shapes... yeah shapes.... I dont think that youll get to draw your stages in Mario Maker, but there are a few similarities, like placing springs and cannons and stuff like that. This is way better than Brawl where you could only place simple blocks, and that option to share them online :headphone: I hope we get some cool stages.
 
I'm so excited for this! Unfortunately I'm not very artsy, but that isn't stopping my mind from trying to formulate some potential stage design ideas~ ^.^

I wonder if the look of the ground/floor is very customizable, not just brown and green ground for dirt and grassiness. <.<

Making a canyon/valley-like stage for Charizard would be nice. Chariffic Valley! Doubt that name would even fit though, heh...
