Hey I wonder what would happen if Star Fox 2 was released as a Virtual Console game on the Wii U? Considering that Nintendo managed to release the NES Earthbound game under the name "Earthbound beginnings," Maybe it might be possible.
 
That'd be awesome! I'm sure they'll do it eventually...hopefully...:oldman:
 
It's extremely unlikely. First of all, unlike earthbound, it was never released. Secondly, even if they wanted to, it was created by a new defunct company, which means the whole legal situation behind it is probably a complicated mess. I don't care too much though, it seems as though Star Fox Zero is taking most of the elements from that game, or at least the elements we knew of
