So, like a lot of people I have been looking for some real nice anime to fill up my life.

Steins Gate is definitely a candidate because I have heard great things about it.

So I watched the first episode and got a little confused.. But I'm open minded..

The first episode is a bit confusing and I think the characters talk really fast so you'll need to read quickly, so that doesn't help. As you watch more episodes, you'll start understanding things better.

Also, if you can't keep up with the text, the English dub isn't bad.

Yay for me! I do admit that the beginning was kind of confusing and slow but the story wraps itself up really nicely at the end so all that confusion only turns to epiphanies at the end. A great gripping anime.
