SSB for Wii U Story mode for wii u?

What if for dlc we got a story mode like the subspace emissary in brawl for the wii u? With the wide roster and upcoming dlcs it seems like a reasonable thing to have. Plus i really enjoyed the story and playing through subspace in brawl if it was in ssb4 i would play it non stop. The wii u deserves to have a story mode though

A story mode DLC similar to the Subspace Emissary would be really neat, although not likely. I heard they weren't adding it due to all the footage of it on YouTube, not making it feel special to all the newbies. And if we want something high quality, if it's starting right now, we'd expect it in maybe 2 years, unless they've been planning it from 2013 or something. Maybe if we rallied enough fan support, we'll get a result in 2 years, but I can't really see it happening... But Wii U does need a story mode, and I was disappointed to hear that they weren't implementing it.

Yeah , I really enjoyed the story mode in Super Smash Brothers Brawl . It was really fantastic . I was quite sad that there was no story mode for the new Super Smash Brothers . DLC would be really nice because I think that many people would be excited for a story mode but sadly there is high doubts :/

Ah I was so disappointed when I heard there was no story mode in ssb4...it was actually one of my favourite parts of brawl! I loved seeing all the characters interact with each other. But I think @Taiiny is right...I heard something about leaked footage too, also the fact that creating a story mode would take a long time.

This might sound a bit weird, but even if there was a chance of a dlc (which there probably isn't ;_ I think I'd prefer a whole seperate game like subspace emissary...that's extremely unlikely but I think it would be really cool to have a full-scale adventure game with a bunch of Nintendo characters x3

I enjoyed the Subspace Emissary so much in Brawl... I never got to finish it lol but it made me so interested. It was just so original. Pretty much why Brawl is my 2nd favorite game in the series. I was so sad when it didn't make it into Sm4sh

Even though there is DLC the chance of a story mode is 0.1% because
1. It would probably take forever to download
2. Sakurai didn't want story mode for Sm4sh anyway because of leaked footage of Subspace Emissary

If people on youtube hadn't been so stupid then there would probably be a good chance of a story mode into Sm4sh...
