I don't play Pokemon competitively, but I would like to have at least one 'good' pokemon, when seen by competitively players and such. Like I said, I don't play competitively, I don't want to learn how to, nor learn to breed, I'd just like to get some help choosing it's stats. From what I've gleaned, I've come up w/this:
Poke-Seviper
Moves-Iron Tail, Coil, Poison Jab, and Rest
Adamant nature
, 'cause I chose physical atks for it.
Ability- Shed Skin
Gender - female
Hidden Power - Steel
EV's- Max it's atk, health, (and if 3 can be maxed, I have no clue) do Spd, or would it even matter, since it's one of it's worst stats?

You can try something like these, but if you want to threaten competitive players, Seviper isn't enough. I'd suggest at least looking into EV training. http://forum.3dspedia.com/threads/evs-made-simple.27532/

Seviper @ Leftovers
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Poison Jab
- Coil
- Rest
- Glare

Seviper @ Life Orb
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 40 Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Rash Nature
- Sludge Wave
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower
- Glare

As @Evil.Wayne14breon said, one Pokémon isn't enough, much less if that Pokémon is Seviper

If you don't want to play competitively, then why even try to get one "good" Pokémon?
"Good" Pokémon almost never matter in ingame (except for the Battle Frontier and such, in which case, 3 is the minimum), so, there is no point on getting one good Pokémon.

If you are not getting into competitive Pokémon, then just don't mind EV's, IV's, natures and such, because it doesn't mattter unless you are playing competitive
