It is so NOT possible to do without it sucking, here's why

1) you can't replicate what the analog triggers did for that game with the touch pad or using the analog stick for FLUDD, it would just make the control scheme suck....its not just on or off, you control small bursts of water, large bursts of water, and it would be gimped (real shame cause the game looked gorgeous on GCN, imagine that shyt in HD!) (just think how much FPS games suck when you have to use a D-pad instead of analog, sure its possible, but it still sucks!)

2) Even if they did do it with gimped controls, it will just bring more attention to the fact that they didn't include analog triggers on their new system in the first place and every reviewer would rip on that in their reviews for the game...and I don't think thats publicity they want..I could picture the quotes now : "leave it to Nintendo to take 2 steps forward and one step back!", or some sarcastic <censored> like that....they axed this re-make when they axed analog triggers!

Maybe they can make the gamecube controller compatible with it like it's compatible with smash? That would solve some problems. I remember playing Sunshine when I was very young, and I think it would be impletemented on here nicely. I doubt they'll release with gimped controls though. Nintendo most of the time releases polished games. Also, tone down the language a bit >.< I don't want you to get in trouble for something you didn't know about. No bad words here okay? But I get where you're coming from.

You stole my thoughts, rawrrie! xD but yes, that's what I came here to say. Gamecube compatibility is an option, and since it's a Gamecube game, if it came to the eShop, it would be Gamecube controller compatible ONLY imo. So, it isn't a terrible idea, and like rawrrie said, they wouldn't release it if the controls were too jank. It would sell very well too.
