Super Mario 3D or Super Mario Bros. U

So I'm finally getting a Wii U come this Friday, the main focus will be for smash bros but since Nintendo didn't think to sell a Wii U with a copy of smash, I'm left to get a Wii U bundle with either Super Mario Bros. U or Super Mario world 3D. I should have gotten the zelda one, but oh well.


So to those who have played these two games, which one is the better one to get, or you would recommend most?

No, I believe you. I just thought it was real. Sorry for sounding aggressive. In all seriousness, buy the Wii-U with Super Mario 3D World, its much better than Super Mario Bros U

I that was my case, I would go for the wii u with mario 3d world, you may wonder why, well you have plenty of new things to see in both of them but to me the new power ups of the 3d world are just marvellous, being able to climb up a tree or a wall dressed up like a cat or the amazing new stages of 3d world make it an excellent choice.

It is a hard decision to decide which one you would choose. I think both of them are really enjoyable but if I were you I would choose Super Mario 3D World. It is a wonderful game where you can experiment different actions (like climb up trees) that could be less possible in other games.

This is hard decision but I'll have to go with Super Mario Bros U. This is one enjoyable game and you can't stop playing once you start. The game contains a significant amount of challenge, both within its story mode and outside of it. Totally recommend this game.

I would go with the Super Mario 3d World one. Mainly because I love the 3d Mario games and I'm pretty sure you also would. There is a great diversity of levels to play and you can even play multiplayer with your friends.

Another reason is that as Super Mario Maker has come out, New Super Mario Bros. U will lose out on sales, since most features of Mario U are in Mario Maker, plus a lot more.

New super Mario bros. U was a launch title for the Wii U, so It's an OK game, but 3D world is WAY better with tons on levels to explore and more variety to keep you busy.

I would personally recommend that you get Super Mario 3D World, as it is simply a better game. There is more content, the multiplayer is a TON of fun, the music sounds better, the level design is far superior, and the replay value is huge, with a good amount of exploring to do for a game of this type. I guess it really comes down to personal preference, though...

I would go with New Super Mario bros 3D world because you're able to move around and help each other if you are playing with one or more person. In New super Mario bros Wii U if you don't keep up your friends pace then you'll get left behind and you might miss the power ups. Your friends might be rude and move along without you so you won't get power ups and I think New super Mario bros Wii U is repetitive because all you do is play find 3 golden coins and move to the next stage and that's all and after you save the princess and pass it it will be even more boring.
