This is one of the best Mario games to come out in the franchise. The gameplay is solid. I had no problems with the 3d platforming in the levels. This game has over a hundred levels in all, which is a lot of hours of extra gameplay. There is also stamps and green stars to collect. Stamps can be used for the social gaming network Miiverse. The green stars are made for progressing through the game. Super Mario also brings back the Super Mario Bros. 2 formula, character wise. There is Mario, who has the normal physics. Luigi, who can jump higher, Peach, who can float for a limited time, and lastly, Toad, who can run faster. You can select any of these four characters in one player mode. Not to mention, there is a secret character you unlock shortly after beating a certain level! Overall, Super Mario 3d World is an amazing, and not to mention beautiful, addition to the Super Mario series and I hope Nintendo can make more Mario games as fun and as addictive as this one.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
I miss Daisy in this game, but it was nice to play with Rosalina! xD
 
After Super Mario 3D Land, they made this 'sequel' of sorts for the Wii U, and it was spectacular. So I think now, as long as they don't just keep making it repetitive (*cough* Super Mario Galaxy *cough*) then this can be a very promising series, and I hope that more is in store for it.
 
I think Super Mario 3D World got the idea from all Mario's series, but with his own concept. If I see a 3D World 2, I just hope for new ideas and a new way to play, not more the same!
 
I love this game! It's really fun and addicting. Nice review. I loved how they added different abilities to each character that made the game feel more Mario like - whether it was peach floating or toad running really fast. I think this game was a great addition as well.

I love 3d world, best Mario game, better than Galaxy or Galaxy 2
 
This was uncharted territory for Mario, yet he entered this universe of spherical planetoids and gravity-defying trickery with the swagger of a man who knew exactly what he was doing. You could understand his confidence, perhaps, when you considered the talents of the team behind him, EAD Tokyo proving over the course of two games that it was capable of taking Mario - and an entire genre - to new heights.

Oddly enough the most impressive thing about the game was the little touches. like the smoke when they're running and a lot of the lighting effects. Graphically it does stuff the ps3 and 360 could only dream of pulling off, and at times looks on par with the xbone and ps4. Considering the power difference its bloody magic. especially when you have it in four player and everyojnes using the cherry pick up and its still just coasting along at a stable 60fps at 1080p.

Its getting a perfect score form me. its sort of like a weird mash up of everything thats come before it. and then adds a shedload of interesting new twists and experiments to it.

It is the WiiUs killer app. add Pikmin 3, wonderful 101 and Wind waker to the mix and you've got a very convincing argument to not bother getting a ps4/xbone.

Super Mario 3D World is definitely an awesome game with quite a bit of replay value added to it. Nintendo really put a lot of effort into making this game, and it's 4 players too! That's what everyone wanted since SM64/3D Land. And as you said before, there's a lot of variety and I completely agree with you. Nice job with the spoiler free review!

super mario 3d world was alright.. it lacked in haveing variety of shrooms in stages only got to be giant like twice. also fighting bowser was wack literally all u did was hit the pow.... dispointing in my opinion but it was fun play rosaliana

Yes that I would agree that Super Mario 3d World was one of the best and addicting game that you can get for and it is also a very good value of a game . I really also liked your review too :) It really pointed the main factors and interesting things about the game that anyone would understand and get . Also I really loved this game and would recommend it to anyone , especially Mario fans :D

Super Mario 3D World was a fun but challenging game I ever played on my Wii U. I love the scenery (some of the scenery reminds me of a memory). I have a few favorite courses although most courses I played were really hard to pass (especially Champion's Road). I love the new power-ups that Nintendo put in Super Mario 3D World especially the cat suit, its just so fun to be a cat ^^. I also like the fact that Nintendo made Rosalina a unlockable character in Super Mario 3D World.
