Super Mario 3D World theory? (Don't look if you haven't played Super Mario Bros 2)

You know how characters in Super Mario Bros 2 had special abilities? And at the end of the game, we find out that it was Mario's dream? But in Super Mario 3D World, how do the characters have those special abilities when it was only Mario's dream? Did Mario tell them about his dream and wanted his dream to come true? What your interperation of this?

Super mario bros 2 wasn't a real mario game in japan they got other super Mario 2 as we call it the lost levels, the real game name was doki doki panic
But the same people who works in doki doki also works in many nintendo projects


If the theory correct then Mario's dream become a reality i guess

For me, I think when you start Super Mario 3D World, I think it is the reality but the game is the dream.
Also Toad could dig more fast than others and now, Toad out speed others. So the ability of Toad changed
In a dream, everything can be here so Mario is not necessary need to talk about Luigi, Peach and Toad

No they can not be. Maybe the sprixies were the ine who given the powers. Also it may nit be a dream because than the cat suit power up would not have been invented.
