Super Mario galaxy 3 confirmed?

If you know me, (you wont) you would know I was a massive fan of the super Mario galaxy series and a huge Mario fan all together. So I was looking at random news posts ( Theres nothing else to do sat in a tiny office all night) and I saw a news article covering super Mario galaxy 3 and its Development. I thought I would break it down here:

So this is saying that nintendo are/have plans for galaxy 3 in the future. I wouldn't think they are already developing it, but you can never be sure with all this NX conspiracy going around.

NX or Wii U?
This question, no one is sure apart from nintendo themselves. Some sources say it will be NX exclusive, while others say it will be on both. But it could be possible this year, probably not though. Tbh, I really don't know what to think on this one.

2015 or 2016? (Or later??)
So this is a pretty strange question. Highly dought this will happen 2015, there are like 3 months left of this year. My expectations are 2016. Although it all depends if its an NX title which could be years yet, or something new all together.

I hope that this is actually true, and if so, I hope that it is on the Wii U. I was originally going to say that it should be released this year, but it will be considered as a "rushed game", so maybe it won't sell well and this will be the Mario version of Sonic Boom. Nintendo should take their time and release it next year.
