A very long time ago I got my first Super Nintendo. It was the very first gaming system I ever had, which is why it was the funnest. All these new game systems are now coming out like PS4 and Xbox and all this fancy stuff, but one thing I can tell you is they will never have such good games like that did with the classical games like, yoshi, jurrasic park, donkey kong, etc.
I still really enjoy playing the Super Nintendo when I have a chance to. It is usually the only thing I play because I am into the old fashioned games.
I still have a few Super Nintendo's that are in working condition, and I was just wondering if you had one?
If you had/have one I would like to know what you first thought about it?

I picked my SNES up late - it was the 2nd model, which I think released in 1997. I was a SEGA guy during the 16-bit era, but I made sure I played the big SNES hits through friends. Now thanks to the VC I have many of my favs at my fingertips - Super Mario World, F Zero, Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, etc. Classics!

Never managed to get one, heard of it thanks to emulators. But, it introduced a lot of concepts, especially in Japan, with the Nintendo Power Cartridges (8MB Re-Writable Cartridges, with games that were exclusive to that cartridges) and the Satellaview (Again, includes a few exclusivities that were never released as a regular SNES game, like Kirby's Toy Box [I translated it myself] or the Zelda BS-X series), being the first online service in the video game history (since Sega Channel came out way later, and couldn't stand a chance against the BS-X).

Many good games that I can try thanks to the emulation.

Nope. The closest I've gotten to having one is playing Yoshi's Island and DKC on the GBA. I also don't have one because I don't want my Sega Genesis being jealous of me.

Actually I had an emulator on my PC where I spent MANY hours on Super Mario World. Didn't quite enjoy Zelda and some others as much as I could've but I'll always love SNES (or at least, the emulator) for SMW. Best 2D game of all time.

I don't think I ever owned one. I used to play my cousins console. I used to go around there a lot when it was the holidays. DKC and A link to the past were the best games ever of this console. Now that many SNES games have remakes, you can relive the moments. :p

The SNES was the first home console I owned. I got it with the Super Mario World, as it was bundled with it a long time ago.
I still have my SNES, but I have unfortunately lost most of the games and the Cart reader is damaged.

I still have the same one my older brother first got :3 it still works perfectly! And I still have the first nes my brother got! And it still works too! It takes a couple trys to get up and running but once it gets working g it works wonderfully! I love the nes and snes more than I love the new consoles because I'm more of an old school Nintendo fan ;3 nothing like a good 8-bit game to get you going! Long live old Nintendo!

I never got a super Nintendo. I was born around the time of the GameBoy Advanced SP, and never heard of the Nintendo consoles other than the handheld ones. My friend had his dad's Super Nintendo and I would go over to his house and we would play LoZ A Link to the Past.

I never really had a Super Nintendo or will have one , only my friend had said that he had had one but he said it was broken and it can't work so yeah >.> I'd really rather stick to using emulators since it is quite the same experience and quite more convenient :p

I don't own one but my grandmother had one that she let me play. I don't remember what games she had but i remember finding the games really fun and a bit of a challenge.

I like going back to those games to see the vast difference in graphics.
