In my opinion, the original SSB is one of the best N64 games. But maybe it IS one of the best N64 game, or maybe even the best N64 game of all time! (Not including DS/3DS remakes, or ROM hacks.)
 
I would have voted have not played it, but I have also not watched anyone play it either. So I can't really vote, my first SSB was on the GameCube.

And yes, I get that Banjo Kazooie is your all-time favorite.

How dare you not mention OoT, majora's Mask, or Mario Kart 64? As well as goldeneye? :rage:

Except for the craziness that was jigglypuff in smash, it was probably one of the best games on one of the greatest consoles ever.
I think that the ps2 with shadow of the colossus was better, but for only the N64, I have to agree, smash is the best.

I didn't get to play much of it, but it's a good game (not the best out of all N64 games, OoT takes that title, no contest) :p

Meh I haven't played them so I would think any of them are the best but Ocarina of Time would be put above the others on the list as it was the beginning of 3D and Smash is a 2D fighter.

If ocarina of time didn't come out for N64 then I would definitely say the ssb 64 would be the best game on the N64 for sure!! I play it all the time and just love it! Can't wait for ssb4 now ;) SSB FOREVER!

Eh, it's not the best to me but it's pretty good. Personally I prefer games on the N64 like Banjo and Kazooie and Twooie or Majora's Mask oover it but its jjuet my opinion and I'll respect yall's :U

it was only fun at parties, and special occasions.
the best game was obviously mario64 or banjo kazooie imo.
